Kung Fu Tea on Dufferin (North York) — Restaurant in Toronto

I been to too many BBT shops in my lifetime to count. I like bubble tea so much that when I got approved for my favorite Canadian credit card I was so excited that I drank 8 cups of bubble tea in one day. I even like bubble tea so much that I have bubble tea acsserories that I wear on a daily basis. As far as I can say this is the absolute worst bubble tea shop I ever been, I remember every bubble tea shop I ever been to. Bad as I mean this location because I been to other Kang Fu locations. Some of the things like milk tea taste low quality. I gave up caffeine today they suggested me to get a chocolate drink, not knowing that chocolate is one of three things that naturally have caffeine. I even seen a drink on promotion where I couldn't not have a topping that I didn't like, it's no different if a store had a policy to not have promotions for if no peanuts even if a client had a peanut allergy.

For example the the biggest give away that I should stop supporting this business is don't accept American Express and cash only promotion. This just tells that this business is bad. I been kinda loyal to American express. From my experience any business which doesn't accept American express and has any cash only promotion is one of the worst horrible, seen it first hand. The only thing that I can say about the owner in this case...

As a first timer to try Kung Fu, I did not enjoy their bubble teas 😔. I ordered take-out the Brown sugar pearl and Taro milktea which I normally order from any tea stores. I was disappointed coz it did not even taste close to what I expected. Total waste of money. I will try other Kung Fu stores and see if this is really the quality of their teas or it might be just the staff's lack of training. I would come back for their egg waffles though. Amazing go to bubble tea spot. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. They know what they are doing and deliver fast and delicious service. Kung Fu Tea is different compared to other bubble tea spots as it uses honey as a sweetener over raw grain sugar. This gives their drinks more a natural/healthier taste. Whether you like milk tea, fresh fruit teas, slushes, etc. they are all great options at this spot. They’re also ice cream and food options here with their signature egg waffles. Kung Fu Tea is looking like the Starbucks of bubble tea and you will be getting excellent service every time...
