Edited Review ​I'm updating my review to reflect a new experience. My first visit was on a Friday night, and I was so impressed with the beef and lamb king wrap. It was delicious, and I didn't expect it to be so good, especially after reading some of the negative reviews.

​However, I returned on September 9th and ordered the exact same thing. What a different experience! I placed an order for pickup via Uber Eats around 11:00 PM and arrived 12 minutes later. When I got my shawarma, the bread was warm, but the beef inside was cold and dry. It seemed like I was given pre-cut leftovers that weren't even warmed up on the grill. For a $15 shawarma, I expect a fresh, premium product and better service. ​I went back inside to address the issue, but the staff member I spoke with was rude, which made the whole situation worse. While they did offer a free replacement, I declined.

​The person I spoke with identified himself as a manager who oversees multiple locations for this franchise, which I find hard to believe given the inconsistent quality and poor service I received. ​My experience, along with other reviews, shows a real lack of consistency at this location, which I believe is due to staffing issues. I also noticed they were getting ready to close even though it was only 11:00 PM. They had small mats laid out, forcing customers to navigate around them just to avoid stepping on the floor, which created a bad experience for everyone. I'm sure if I tried to sit and eat at that time they would've said no as I would have to walk on the floor to sit on a table. When I asked what time they closed, they said 11:45 PM, but Google Maps states they are open until midnight.

​I believe the owner should ensure the hours on Google Maps accurately reflect their business operations and consider paying staff to stay past 12:00 AM to properly clean up. This would improve the overall experience and ensure customers receive the quality food and service they expect.

Hands down THE WORST Shawarma Royale Location!!

I've been to at least 5 different Royale locations now, from downtown Toronto, to mississauga, to vaughn all the way to hamilton

But this l location seems to be the only location that creates their own rules compared to all the other locations

The other locations I've left amazing 5 star reviews for one simple fact. The lunch special. At other locations i kid you not for only 12 dollars you can get a massive queen sized wrap with all toppings no extra charge. Your fries are made fresh to order and the customer service is always leaving you smiling back with great service.

NOT THIS LOCATION I've come here multiple times over the year of 2024 and today will be the last and I recommend no one else bothers coming here again until you go to a different location you will be SHOCKED in the difference in service. This location is either private owned or they just don't care.

The fries from this location are ALWAYS already made sitting in a heat lamp, the wrap i got today they forced me to pay $17 dollars in order to get more toppings and on top of that they didn't even add all the toppings i asked for! I made sure to ask for pomegranate molas and there was none to be found in the wrap, not even hot sauce nor was it offered. The wrap itself was folded like a damn taco and the chicken taste old and dry. The fries were pre-made stuffed into a box sealed then put into a bag.... who the hell wants saugy fries????

I dont understand the way you guys are running things here but I hate it and I'll be letting other reviewers know to take a closer look at this place, I'll see if i can get in touch with corporate or whoever owns these locations to see what's so special about the dufferin location that they chooose to do...

I ordered a family platter on my way home late evening. It was my first time I tried their lamb and chicken wraps in that platter. In fact I let the owner/manager who was helping at the till, recommend what would be the best for four people.Oh! It was heavenly. So deliciously that my mouth waters now just writing a review about that awesome experience three days later. I wish this place is a little closer to my home. But since then I felt I will get food from here every single time I am in Dufferin and Steeles area. Most of my lunches are with lawyers and mortgage professionals and I would love to treat my awesome team members with such a wholesome, healthy food, packed and presented so conveniently; easy to grab off of the platter and eat in business settings without mess. I guess my clients on that side of town are going to see me a lot more, meaning their projects would receive more personal attention; translating into huge benefits for them (all that due to this shawarma place; can you believe it) I think its about the owners and managers there. They are so focused on caring about their patrons; its amazing. I have noticed the owners being so kind and defensive as they respond to rare negative reviews on google. Hey, you can't possibly make every single person happy; but I would only say keep whatever you are doing and you deserve more appreciation than you get. I regret I should have tipped the awesome chef who prepared my food there. I guess next time and it would be soon. And I have decided to try each and everything from this awesome place. But that lamb and chicken platter may not be beaten in taste. You can't...
