I pass by this place all the time and I usually saw it crowded so I figured it would’ve good but it turns out it’s just like any other ordinary, overrated, and overpriced ice cream shop in the city that gets wildly populated in the summertime. It was my first time coming to this place and I think it will be my last time. The service was meh at best. The reason why I’m giving this two stars is because I enjoyed their slice of cheesecake from the cheesecake factory. Other than that, their soft serve ice cream just tastes like vanilla ice cream despite the fact that I got a cheesecake flavoured and tiramisu flavoured ice cream. To be honest, I’ve had better soft serve from McDonald’s which doesn’t melt as fast as this one does. I came by 10 o’clock at night knowing that they close at midnight, and I wanted to take a good look at the menu to see what they had. Other people were there to order so I let them order before me. I still felt rushed by one of the workers when choosing what I wanted. When I left, I made a mistake and realized one of the other ice creams I got was meant to be in a cone so I went to go back and asked for it to be in a cone; to which one of the staff members named Ruby in an annoying tone said “how are we supposed to fix that?” Before the other gentleman that worked there kindly offered to remake the cone for me. The ice cream portions were so small that it felt like there was more dip than ice cream. The ice cream itself was way too sweet and melted way too much for us to be able to finish it so it just felt like...

Loved this place until today. We only just discovered it and it was to be a summer of lots of great ice cream. Ordered through Skip the Dishes today and the portion they sent was insulting. If you've been there, you know it's not cheap. Maybe even more pricey for delivery (not really sure, never been to the store). The portion for one of the premium orders we placed today was SOOO small. It almost looked like they tried to make it look legit but failed. When I moved the dip, there were scraps of ice cream underneath (I've uploaded a pic...you have to see to believe).

Nothing Skip could do because portions are at the restaurant's discretion, but I know for a fact this would not have happened had I been in the store to hold them immediately accountable. If you're sold out, just say so. So disappointing. But probably better that I stop...

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a delectable banana split sundae at La Diperie, and it was a delightful treat. The combination of creamy vanilla ice cream, fresh bananas, and a generous drizzle of rich chocolate sauce created a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. It was a nostalgic, classic dessert that took me on a delightful journey down memory lane. La Diperie's banana split sundae is a must-try for anyone seeking a sweet, satisfying, and wonderfully nostalgic ice cream experience. Kudos to Hitarth for creating a banana split sundae that was both a visual and gustatory delight.

Great ice cream place! The gentleman at the counter is so nice and considerate with every ice cream order he takes. I got their cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles (2 scoops), while my fiancé got their salted caramel and chocolate (2 scoops). Both flavours are DELICIOUS! We haven’t even tried their wide range of sorbets just yet! The portions he put in the cups were also super generous! They also sell Cheesecake Factory products and their own ice cream cakes and regular cakes; definitely worth a try. The “cups to go” are also a super convenient option for those looking to take some quick (and very fairly priced) ice cream home. Love coming here and will be back again soon!
