I have had several good experience of this locations. My wife & I were big fans of their Asian chicken bites + Sangria + beer of day combo and therefore I gave it a 5 star rating initially. Now I am bringing it down to 1 star because on 31st December we went there around 8PM. I think it was a mistake going there on New Years eve (with my wife & 2 sons) as it was crowded and we waited about 20mins to get table (which is understandable due to the special day). We ordered our usual 3 orders of Asian chicken bites and it seemed as the chef made 1 dish and distributed in 3 plates and covered it with wonton chips. The chicken was hard & un-edible. I can understand that the wait staff & chef must be under lot of pressure due to the restaurant being at capacity but Asian chicken bites & grilled chicken (with boiled rice) are not any complicated dishes to cook. I have learnt my lesson and will stick to going here during lunch time. Very disappointed. Update 9jan20 - as per the request by Milestone staff , I have completed their feedback form . Update 27jan20 - we went back on 22jan20 (our anniversary) and are happy to report that their signature dish (Asian Chicken bites) is back to its original taste. My wife tried Original Bellini and she loved it. I took my usual BoD i.e. Molson. Since we went during the 3-6pm happy hour window, the prices were much more economical. Now coming to highlight of the day. Since it was our anniversary, we got complimentary slice of their signature dessert i.e. WCC (White Chocolate Cheesecake). It was brought out with a nice sparkler on top it but we were too full after eating 2 portions of ACB's + 1 portion of Coconut Calamari( which we didn't like that much) so we got our slice of cake to go. After we reached, home we shared the slice with our kids and they also loved it. I guess we are now going to have to go back to celebrate all our family members birthdays at Milestones and probably get a WCC (if they sell them whole). Overall it was great experience and I am bumping the rating back to 5 star. Lastly, I would like to mention that after I completed the survey, I was contacted by Dave (DGM of Milestones-Scarborough) and he sent us a $25 gift card (for the previous bad experience on 31dec19), this is exceptional customer service by Dave & rest of the team at Milestones-Scarborough. Keep up the good-work.

I went to celebrate my husband's birthday with my son. From the first moment we arrived, the staff was very friendly, in particular the waiter assigned to our table. The food I must point out: 1. Starters: coconut calamary and wings, both delicious but my recommendation is the coconut calamary. Main: I ordered portobello mushroom chicken, suggested by the waiter, simply delicious but with negative points, it was supposed to have portobello, however it had just a few thin pieces of it, I felt disappointed to me. 2. My husband ordered Baby back trio, which is a mixture of BBQ pork ribs, chicken breast and shrimp, exquisite, also recommended. 3. The disappointment of the day. My son is a meat lover and he ordered a 7 oz filet mignon. He asks for medium term. It was quite small. My son gave me his last bites of the filet to share, but total disappointed. My son knows his preferred term of meat, medium, but he didn't say anything so as not to upset his dad's birthday. The meat was fully cooked, it was not medium, and it was supposed to be a super tender and soft meat, but unfortunately it was the opposite, it was a dry and hard meat, additionally the flavor was not delicious, it had a burnt charcoal taste that hid the flavor of the meat. I couldn't complain about it, because the meat was already gone and I didn't want to darken my husband's birthday. The filet mignon is a very expensive dish $44, very small and its quality is not close to what it should be, negative points and not recommended if you are thinking to go there for the meat. Finally we went on the recommendation of a friend who said that when birthdays are celebrated, they give you a cake for free and according to the reviews, that's how it should be. It was not like that either, the cost of the dessert adorned with Happy birthday was charged. For the negative points in the food I give 3 stars, but the attention of the waiter deserves 5 stars, of the rest of the milestones staff 4 stars, because the lady who brought the drinks was somewhat rude. For the value of the bill, maybe you can find better places to eat.

My team and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Milestones Restaurant in Scarborough, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to make our visit memorable. The customer service at Milestones is truly exceptional. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations and accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. Their efficiency and professionalism added an extra touch of class to the overall dining experience. What truly sets Milestones apart is their outstanding halal menu offerings. As a person who follows a halal diet, it can often be challenging to find restaurants that cater to my needs without compromising on taste and quality. However, Milestones exceeded my expectations. Their halal menu selection was diverse and extensive, showcasing a range of delicious options that showcased the culinary expertise of their chefs. It was evident that Milestones takes pride in delivering exceptional halal dining experiences. Furthermore, the ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and inviting. The comfortable seating arrangements, tasteful decor, and relaxing atmosphere created the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience, whether it be for a casual meal or a special occasion. (We had our staff Christmas dinner) In conclusion, I highly recommend Milestones Restaurant in Scarborough for its remarkable customer service and outstanding halal menu offerings. Whether you're looking for a delightful meal with friends and family or a place to celebrate a special event, Milestones is sure to impress. With their commitment to exceptional service and their dedication to providing a diverse and delicious halal menu, Milestones has undoubtedly earned its place as a top dining destination in Scarborough.

Update: after posting an initial 3 star review(see below) I have come back to update on what has happened since. In the reply to this, I was encouraged to contact milestones at Scarborough Town Center and they arranged the opportunity for me to communicate with them about the experience. I spoke with Laurel she was super apologetic, very understanding and it was nice to have someone reach out just to speak to me about my experience. She also was nice enough to make it up to us by sending us an invitation and a gift card to come back, thank you.

My fiancee and I went to milestones near Scarborough Town to enjoy a lunch and use a voucher I had where we save $20 dollars, this is of little consequence but does play a role in my story. We ordered a drink each appetizer and our main course along with a Ceasar salad. Our drinks came quickly and were enjoyable. Our mains came out fairly quickly but I then realized our appetizer was missed. I called the servers attention and asked her to cancel the appetizer as seeing as our main course arrived it was no longer needed or desired. She admitted that it was not keyed in so this is the reason it didn't arrive, fair and not overly troublesome. We proceeded to eat our meal and I found my meal enjoyable(Sushi bowl with Ahi Tuna). My fiancee got the Korean Crispy Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and a Ceasar salad. Now where this goes wrong is the server never checked in as is customary to see if we needed anything or how we were enjoying our meal, it was a bit busy so this can be forgiven as well. My fiancee took one bite of her sandwich and was not happy with the "over sauced" construction of the sandwich, she also found the SPF side overly salty, so she decided to simply eat her salad. We chose not to complain as it is not our nature. When the server finally came around I had finished and she asked if we needed a takeaway box for a clearly fully intact meal on my fiancees plate. We declined as it makes no sense to take home a meal she didn't enjoy. The server did offer to take the meal off the bill which was nice, I won't say this was totally expected but seems customary at restaurants, the sad part is had she come half way or to check in, my fiancee may have been able to get something else other than her salad for lunch. We were sitting close to the kitchen and heard the server almost immediately call out loudly to the kitchen of a complaint with regard the sandwich, wasn't rude other than the volume level and tone of her voice was clearly annoyed and for a guest to hear this detracts from the experience. The server was given the coupon upon her return and we asked for our bill. She advised us she would get her manager to take care of the the coupon/voucher. A minute or two later who I assume was the manager on duty came over to present us our adjusted bill minus the $20 and the meal that was not consumed as the server promised. What I find off putting was the manager never addressed or apologized for at the very least the meal that was not enjoyed, as a matter a fact he didn't say a single word at all, which begs the question: why did you need to come over to process payment, as the bill was adjusted so the server could've completed this part as well. The adjusted bill was about $45 and I tipped 20% partly because I enjoyed my meal and I didn't want it to appear that we were completely disappointed or looking for some sort of deal on our lunch, the voucher I had gotten from a previous visit to Milestones(other location) was a deal enough and will say that visit was pleasant.

Over all I would say it was a less then favourable dining experience as a couple, and although I enjoyed my food and drink I'll be hard pressed to get my fiancee to try Milestones again and for sure it would be impossible to get her to return to this establishment. I gave a 3 as I don't think the server was good or bad, and I liked my food but as described there were many shortcomings. I think my review is more than fair and would hope there was more care placed on over all...

It was unbelievable how this place handled Valentine’s day. I made a reservation for my girlfriend and I well over a week out for 8pm. We arrived to a crowd around the hostess of people who had also made reservations.

After checking in for our reservation about 5 mins late, not because we arrived late (we got there 10 mins early) but because we couldn’t even get to the hostess until then, we were then told it would be 5-10 mins for our table. No problem, it’s Valentine’s day, and we totally understand that things can run behind a bit.

Fast forward 40 mins and we are still stuck in this growing crowd in the front of the restaurant. Half are irritated people who also had reservations and half are uber eats drivers who are being told their orders won’t be ready for a while. I ask a couple beside me when they made their reservation for? They tell be there’s was for 7:30pm.. it was 8:45pm!!

At this point we’re freezing because the front door has been held open the entire time because of the crowd. I’m realising that continuing to wait probably doesn’t make much sense. With the kitchen this backed-up, it’s probably going to take forever to get our food even if we do eventually get in. We decide we’ll wait another 15 mins max. Before the 15 mins pass, a customer leaving after their dinner warns me that they had to wait over an hour for their food after ordering, and when they did get it, it was cold and overcooked.

At this point we decided there was no point to staying. It was almost 9pm and there was still no sign that we would be getting in soon, as there were people there before us who still hadn’t been seated. We gave up and left.

This was the worst experience I have ever had going out for Valentine’s day dinner. I have never seen a place do a worse job of managing reservations. I don’t know if it’s from spreading the kitchen too thin by also doing uber eats orders, or just plain overbooking, but to wait over an hour for a time you RESERVED is absolutely ridiculous.

I would like to add that this is not a complaint about the staff. The hostess remained pleasant and professional the entire time. The servers all appeared to be doing their best and remaining professional and polite as well. This all comes down to horrible mismanagement.

I understand that Valentine’s day is a crazy night for restaurants, but I have gone out for dinner almost every Valentine’s day for the last 15 years, and I have never experienced having to leave a place over an hour after our reservation because we likely weren’t going to get in anytime soon anyways. To have a nice, romantic night ruined like that was very frustrating and confusing.

By far, the worst restaurant experience of my life. It was my first time going to Milestones and I still haven’t eaten there.. and I don’t think I ever will. Someone in management should take a hard look at how this night was handled and figure out how to avoid this level of...

We came on a Tuesday for lunch. There were lots of menu options which was nice. I ordered a beet and goat cheese salad with grilled shrimp and my husband had the chicken parm. We also ordered non-alcoholic mocktails. However, the negatives were enough for us not to come back. First of all, they sat us near the kitchen which we don’t mind, however, on this day the manager (or whoever he was) was very loudly coaching the kitchen staff on making orders. I specifically heard him say when they were making my salad that the chef was “giving away salad” and that it was too big a portion. When it got to the table it was supposed to have candied pecans and goat cheese in it. I had exactly two candied pecans and had to search for the goat cheese. For a minimal amount of lettuce, some blueberries and red onion with 4 grilled shrimp, it was priced way too high at $29 dollars. I hardly call that “giving it away”. My husband said his chicken Parmesan was good but that was also priced high at $27 dollars. We’ve had better quality for less elsewhere. The mocktails were good. The entire lunch all we could hear was the manager loudly coaching the kitchen staff which made it a bad experience. Service was okay, we never were offered water which we thought was pretty standard. In his defence, he seemed to be serving the entire room alone and probably couldn’t get back to us before we had finished our meals. At the end of our meal, the internet went down and they had to reset the wifi. Now we know this is out of their control, but we waited almost half an hour for the bill and there were still problems when the machine came. We had a meeting to attend and tried to patiently wait. No one offered us anything during that entire time we waited, not even water. We’ve had many attentive managers and wait staff at other restaurants that make sure the customers are having a good experience even when things go wrong. As we left, our waiter flagged us down to give us a coupon for a free appetizer. Nice, however, for the trouble, other restaurants we have been to have compensated our meals for far less hassle. We sadly likely won’t be using the free appetizer. Overall, the restaurant decor and general atmosphere is nice but after today, we likely won’t be returning to this location even though it’s probably good on some days. It unfortunately left a bad...
