The new Danforth location of Mofer Coffee at Coxwell was an absolute oasis during a snowstorm! As soon as you walk inside the warm glowing lights welcome you and all that natural wood and furnishings make you feel at home. It is still very new, people were still getting used to using the cash register and they did not warm up my croissant like I asked but... the coffee!!! OMG my decaf mocha latte was perfection and when I got to the bottom I swear I could taste spices of some kind. I belief this stunning beverage came from the birth place of coffee because I have never had one quite like it before, ever. Not too strong or bitter, transported me to a warmer place on the planet with its unique and fabulous flavour. There are larger tables for people getting together to either work together or separately, as well as single seats towards the back for those who want a quiet more private space. This place also had one of the nicest washrooms I have ever been to. Some lately have been downright scary so this was a welcome change and a relief. A happy addition to the neighbourhood! I can not wait to go back.

Moffer Coffee is a hidden gem tucked away in Toronto’s vibrant scene. We visited in the morning, and the atmosphere was perfectly quiet with lovely music playing in the background. It’s a cozy and inviting spot, ideal for getting some work done or enjoying a peaceful start to the day. The coffee is rich and flavorful, clearly brewed with quality beans and a passion for craft. Their lattes are smooth, and they offer a great selection of plant-based milk options, making it easy for those who prefer dairy alternatives to enjoy their drinks. The pastries are fresh and pair perfectly with the coffee. Whether you're after a simple espresso or something a bit more creative, Moffer Coffee has something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

As a fan of Ethiopian coffee, I was looking forward to this place. Beautiful interior design. Very open and inviting. The bulletproof coffee was so-so. It tasted a bit sour and burnt which was unfortunate. I ended up only drinking 1/3rd before tossing it. It reminded me of Starbucks lattes rather than other Ethiopian bulletproof coffees I've had. I would go back and try again if I'm ever in the area but won't make a special trip. I feel like it would be a nice place to settle in and read for a bit as the ambience is nice, especially considering the neighbourhood and that busy intersection.

I’ve just been there and am a regular with my weekly study visits. Today at around 4.30pm I have ordered a chai latte with soy milk and paid $7.79 including 15% tip. It went through and I moved on after seeing ´approved’ note on the machine. Later they called me and asked to pay since they said it didn’t go through. I checked my bank account and it was shown as the most recent purchase. The women disagreed with me and said it only shows pending. All credit cards shows pending for the first day of a purchase and have it listed under posted for security purposes. I don’t have to defend myself for paying something. Nor can be asked to double pay. I asked if they have a receipt showing card not going through. They ofc did not. I left the caffee and left my drink. I have spend $7 on goods I didn’t receive + publicly blamed for not paying. I can’t forget about this experience and will be sharing online & with my friends. The purchase will be posted in 2 days as it went through and I will write another review than. Shame...
