NAAN KABOB — Restaurant in Toronto

The worst place I’ve ever seen January 21, 2025 and I wanted my money back! When it comes to deliver the food on a good time manner this place is not effective. You can not smile and sweetalk to people and pretend the big issue is solved. I’m talking about not once but twice with the same issue. *First time was in a catering birthday dinner at this place I was one of the first to order and the very last to get served more than 45 minutes waiting people and friends were already leaving and the place was about to close when I got my food served what a joke! I had to rush my eating to comply with the closing time for them.

*Today I went again with some friends I ordered a kebab sandwich combo. The cashier told me ten minutes, honestly it was a simple order nothing crazy. It was not ready after 25 minutes I approached remaining that my order is not ready the cashier told me I have it ready I’ll bring it to you shortly. Another 5 minutes had passed and nothing I approached again as soon as they saw me they said to the kitchen hey I need the fries from this order and realized it was not even completed. I did ask for my money back. UNACCEPTABLE! I only been two times to this place and the only two times I get the worst...

As an Uber driver I will say when this establishment first opened they seemed far more organized than they are now. As in, they used to have food delivery orders ready for pickup. For the last 8 months or so is a different story. Every order pickup is never ready. Owner always says 2 minutes and 10 minutes later you are still standing there waiting. The owner does not realize Uber drivers are only getting paid a $3 Net Fare on the majority of orders now! Waitng 10+ minutes for food that we are hardly getting paid any money to deliver to begin with is insanity! The pickup area is a small alcove at the front entrance that gets absolutely clustered with half a dozen or so Uber and DoorDash drivers. I feel really sorry for walk in customers. Imagine having a dysfunctional entrance to the establishment every day. What customers must think about that?? I think it is embarrassing for the establishment and I personally feel embarrassed to be standing there in the way of customers wanting to come in and dine in this establishment.

Here's an honest review.

It was a very hot day during the taste of the middle east festival and we were so thirsty. The food was amazing, everything was clean except that...

We were hoping that we could at least be served tap water when we requested for it but it took around 15 minutes. This could have been a minor inconvenience but one of us noticed there were tiny specs of whatever that is on the top of the water bottle. We looked closely and we were SO DISGUSTED with the residue on the top of the bottle. I wanted to make sure that we aren't tripping so I used a clean tissue to wipe the inside and there was so much BROWN GUNK in there.(Something you get when your water bottle doesn't get washed for a while.) We tried to ask for another bottle but apparently the staff are too busy ignoring us so we were only able to inform them after we left the table.

The place is clean but I hope they also keep their beverage container or eating utensils clean and sanitized as well. Plus, the Mango shake is lukewarm.
