The food was ok, but not really all that good. The service was good, the management is horrible.

We came during a promotion with t&t, they offered a coupon for 50% off a coupon. We waited in line 40+ minutes to get to the front to be told it's dine in only (lots of restrictions are listed on the sign and coupon, but not that). We wanted take out but we waited so long we didn't have time to eat elsewhere. We had takeout from another location we had to leave at the door, spun the wheel (which landed on a deal worse than our coupon, so we got nothing the same as the 5 groups ahead of us..hmmmm..) and sat down.

Ordered our food, it arrived quickly. The spring rolls taste identical to the one sold at t&t, the potatoes were ok. Noodles were lumpy, poorly cut and gummy. The meat mostly gristle and looked like it was cut with a wood chipper.

Get to the cash, pay, ask for take out containers for 4 noodles (2 bowls of 2 types) and was told their 50c each. That would have been useful to be told before I paid. I found 4 quarters and she gave me 2 small containers. Found out they have large containers and wondered why I was fooling around with these small ones. Asked for larger ones and was argued with over paying for more containers. A staff member came by with the containers we needed and we left.

Advice to management: set expectations - customers don't like surprises. No one wants to wait for 40 min only to find out they did so for nothing because of limitations not listed anywhere. Post signs for cash/debit only at the door and not the cash so customers know before they enter. If you're charging for takeout containers, a customer should know before they order and not after they paid.

Finally, it's illegal to operate a game of chance as a promotional item that is not fair. It's considered deceptive marketing. It's pretty strange that everyone who spun that wheel got the same thing which...

Disgusting fired noodles!!!! DON'T COME!!!!!! Terrible service!!! The boss is extremely rube with no apology for the disgusting noodle.

TRUST ME!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

I received the restaurant's reply, they said I made fabricated malicious comments. I will provide the picture and detailed information:

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered the lamb fried noodles. After taking the first bite, I found the dish extremely salty and inedible. I politely asked the waitress if I could return or exchange the dish because it was too salty. She said she needed to check and spoke to a lady, presumably the manager. The manager immediately told her that it was not possible to return or exchange the dish. The waitress came back and informed me of the same, with no further explanation.

Additionally, when we were seated, there was only one set of utensils and a water cup for the two of us. It was only after the food arrived and I reminded the waitress that she provided us with another set of utensils and a water cup.

Throughout the entire interaction, there was no apology or attempt to address the issue. I ended up paying $20 CAD for a dish I couldn't eat. The rude attitude and disregard for customers, coupled with the awful food, make me strongly advise AGAINST dining at...

I was craving for hand-pulled noodles so we came here. We ordered the braised beef noodle and stir fried chicken noodle. It was easily $35 with tax. The only thing we liked in this place was the noodle and it's texture. It was fresh and chewy. I didn't feel like I was eating packet noodles.

What we didn't like was: the beef in the soup was not delicious, both soup and beef was super salty. Portion was small and they were very stingy with the ingredients. In their menu picture, there are about 3 bok choy, in my serving I got 3 leaves of 1 bok choy. The stir fried noodle was worse, it had specks of chicken and veggie. Overall, we felt that we had only carbs that day and were not full.

There wasn't much of a restaurant ambience, it was more of a food court or street food ambience (located near the entrance to the train station and infront of TNT). We sat outside and we had several people walking by us while we ate. The server was also not very friendly. Hardworking but not patient. One server would occasionally show up to seat customers and if you stand to see the menu longer than 2 minutes, they will make the decision for you and make you take a seat (happened to me).

I would not recommend this place for hand pulled noodles especially for the price, quantity...

Was strolling through the Fairview mall on a beautiful Friday afternoon checking out the new T&T supermarket when their afternoon special combo signage beckoned me. Traditional hand made Lanzhou noodles and 2 pumpkin cakes for only $9.99, had to pinch myself, was I still in Canada or transported to a parallel metaverse. I quickly ordered this combo before my metaverse came crashing down. The pumping cakes were not cakes, more like chewy mochi with a crunchy skin. I guess this is what cakes taste like in the metaverse, wonderful. The handmade noodles were firm and chewy with an abundance of parsley swimming in flavorful clear broth. After a few spoonfuls of the broth I felt a slight numbness in my mouth, there was no evidence of spiciness in the soup so I can only suspect it was the special secret seasoning from Lanzhou or was I slowly coming back to reality from the metaverse. Sitting in their outside patio watching the human like avatars existing in their own metaverse while enjoying my special afternoon combo, what a wonderful world we exist in
