Patties are decent/good, which should be since they are well known and mass produced. Ordered the Jerk Chicken large meal rice and peas coleslaw, straight garbage. Someone previously stated that the staff are lost, and I second that at times. During this occurrence, this particular staff member had the audacity to raise his finger as I was talking to him, so he can check if Jerk Chicken on rice and peas with coleslaw was still available since I went near store closing time. Got the order no coleslaw, another lost employee couldn't answer why I was told I would get a full order and ended up with no coleslaw. It's like ordering a combo and not getting fries at McDonald's, but you paid for a combo. That said life's too short to argue over coleslaw. Rice and peas was dry with no flavor. Seems like it was just rice cooked in a rice cooker with water and a hand full of beans. No flavor, and as mentioned dry. The skinless chicken thigh pieces were off-putting, far from being considered jerk in any way. The pieces tasted weird, looks like it was cooked then doused with a sauce. Only redeeming factor was the hot ketchup they had at the counter, which I unfortunately didn't put enough of. For patties, fresh or frozen this place is good. Judging by this experience think I will only stick to that, and would not recommend their Jerk Chicken meal or anything else.

Patty King - The Authentic Taste of Jamaica in Scarborough If you're searching for an authentic Jamaican patty experience in Scarborough, look no further than Patty King. This establishment truly stands out as the "real OG" when it comes to capturing the genuine flavors of Jamaican patties and their perfect companion, coco bread (also known as folding bread). While Patty King offers a wider range of Jamaican cuisine, my visits are consistently driven by their exceptional patties. There's no need to ask friends or relatives in Jamaica to send you a taste of home; Patty King delivers the real deal right here. A fantastic perk for regulars is their offering of frozen "seconds" – slightly imperfect but equally delicious patties – sold in packs of 12 for a very decent price. Whenever I go to stock up on these, I can never resist grabbing a spicy beef patty and coco bread, paired with a can of coke, all for less than $5. It's an unbeatable combination and a true testament to their value and quality. Their patty selection includes beef (available in spicy or mild), chicken, and vegetable. Do note that the vegetable patty, while delicious, is not a vegetarian meal. Patty King is a must-visit for anyone craving truly authentic Jamaican patties.

A few things to make note of this place. Horrible parking situated on a busy road, no seating availability indoor or outdoor and it's debit or cash only. Prices are reasonable and good is decent quality. "Authentic Jamaican" run by Trini's and Chinese, no dumpling or festival options and when ordering patty on a coco bread you cannot modify or add toppings to it. I've had better but I've also paid more for it so it's a great quick and go joint. I ordered the chicken curry, decent size for $7, gave you the option of white rice or rice and peas and went with the latter.

Their patties are one of the best, but their service is absolutely horrible. Went in with my mom last week and ordered 4 patties around closing time. When we got to our destination, we noticed that there were only 3 patties in the bag (but we were charged for 4). Since the store was already closed, that next morning we called and spoke with the manager/owner to inform him what happened, so that it could be avoided in the future. We really we’re all that upset over it, as the party costs less than $2. To our surprise, upon explaining the situation to the manager, he become extremely defensive and his response was “well, you should have checked your bag before you left”, rather than investigating or apologizing offering to make it up to us. We were so turned off by his response that we didn’t even bother going back there, and in the future will be buying our...
