Edit Winter 2019: review adjusted to 3* due to pizza pizza or management pricing policy.
Although 7 months ago I wrote a great review I’m editing it in hopes management will listen as I wasn’t convinced my request for feedback would make it there. I came in to buy walk-in pizzas and was told I could no longer pay extra to add a second topping. If I wanted one of the medium pizzas to have two toppings (pepperoni and mushrooms) it would be $5.50 extra ($12.49 instead of $6.99 + standard cost of second topping) This is ridiculous.
So I took one pizza instead of two. You lost a sale. While I waited for my one pizza - Not 5 minutes later another customer came in and also wanted to add a second topping to his walk-in. He also declined the extra $ 5.50.
My suggestion - revisit your additional topping policies and pricing. Thank you.
Summer 2018: review for 4* Slices were fresh and perfectly crisp, service was quick and courteous and she went out of her way to cut one slice into 6 pieces for my son.
(On a side note: Was just at a different pizza pizza .location where it was too hot to dine in so we left without making a purchase). Today was a record heat day - This one was cooler than outside , not cool per se, but comfortable enough to dine in once we had...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I most definitely would. Most horrible experience ever! My husband and I ordered a large pizza + 20 wings, had it picked up @ this particular location Islington & Bloor. As my husband bit into his pizza, along came with it was a long black strand of hair, which from a distance, I thought it was a cheese string, but no it was a black strand of hair... Ewww!!! It was his first slice of pizza, and from then on I felt so sick from seeing that I didn’t even want to continue eating... as for the wings, I took my first bite and the wings were sooo soggy, and it was as if the chicken itself was old, and the bones were breaking apart and cartilage was all I tasted, and clearly we told them thin crust over the phone, instead we got regular crust! How can a big chain like pizza pizza fail on so many levels? Lack of quality control, failed on meeting food and health safety, and terrible customer service. After contacting pizza pizza to advise them of the issue, they only credit me $7 meanwhile my bill was $40.. don’t order from this location anymore! It’s terrible here!!! Especially during the pandemic you’d figure they work hard to make customers happy but instead it’s the opposite. It’s okay cause there’s many businesses out there I’d rather give...
Read moreI recently tried a 12” Medium Half & Half Pizza from Pizza Pizza, and it was a great experience overall. The Thin ’n Crispy crust was perfectly done, providing a nice crunch.
The left half was the Chicken Lover’s®, topped with regular tomato sauce and roasted red peppers. The combination was delightful, with the peppers adding a nice touch of sweetness.
The right half was the Veggie Lover’s®, also with regular tomato sauce and hot peppers. The hot peppers added a good amount of heat, making it a flavorful and spicy choice.
I also ordered the Boneless Bites with Mild Buffalo Sauce. While they were decent, they didn’t quite match up to the ones at Pizza Hut. The garlic bread, which I decided to skip this time, often lacks flavor and softness.
At $21.49 for the pizza and $10.99 for the boneless bites, it’s moderately priced for a quick and tasty meal. The service was good and fast, making Pizza Pizza a reliable option for satisfying...
