The pizza was burnt and missing the ‘angus steak’. I WOULD NOT recommend Pizza Shab. Instead Pizza Shab, here hold a B and Y cause service and food was shabby! On a friend’s recommendation I went there last night, June 2nd, to try pizza from his culture. Called ahead to order a medium beef lovers pizza. I was told it would be ready in 15 - 20 mins, got there 40 mins later and it wasn’t ready...which was whatever, not a big deal to me. Waited 10 mins then my pizza was ready. The pizza cost $20.50 plus tax, so in total $23.17, I gave the guy $30. The cashier gave me my change after counting and counting then he scoffed that I took all his change and he has nothing left. I received my change from him counted and found he shorted me about $1. Commented to my friend who I was with that the least he could have done was tell me he’s shorting me than to pretend he gave me my money...so I left that alone and didn’t kick up a fuss! I get home to find my pizza was burnt and missing the steak so you can imagine the taste wasn’t great! All in all, this was my first and last time going to this place as the experience and food was disappointing.

Where can I start? I can't believe it...I had a very disappointing experience, nothing special. The pizza was bland, and the crust had nothing special to it. Above that, for what they charge, the quality simply doesn’t make sense. A medium pizza costs around $32–35 CAD, Honestly, I have had much better pizza at Italian restaurants in Downtown Toronto or Yorkville area in the same price or even less, with proper service and ambiance. The pricing does not match their location, food quality, or the lack of service. There was no seating inside the store, only a couple of shared benches outside that belonged to neighbouring businesses. Basically, you either sit in your car or take the food home. No napkins, no basic service, long wait time, we had to ask for everything. I honestly don’t know how they justify their prices or how they stay in business without comparing themselves to proper restaurants. This experience was so frustrating that Pizza Shab is permanently off my list. I would not recommend it to anyone, and I assume their other locations are no different.

Pizza Shab, and I feel compelled to share it so others don’t make the same mistake. I ordered through Uber Eats, expecting a delicious, satisfying meal, but instead, I received the worst pizza I’ve ever had. To start, the pizza was severely overcooked, leaving the crust dry and hard to chew. The taste was just as bad as the texture—completely off, with no balance in flavor, and the toppings seemed stale or low-quality. On top of that, it was drenched in oil, making it unappetizing and unpleasant to eat. The combination of all these issues made it impossible to enjoy, and I ended up throwing most of it away. For a place that claims to specialize in pizza, this was far below even the most basic expectations. Considering the price and the fact that I ordered through a trusted platform like Uber Eats, I expected far better quality and professionalism. Unfortunately, Pizza Shab failed on every level. I won’t be ordering from them again and strongly advise others to think twice before wasting their money here.
