Placed an online order today and had forgotten to add fresh garlic (a FREE topping) in which they add at the very end, after being baked. Upon arrival for pickup I mention to the chef/cook that I had forgotten to add fresh garlic and if he could do that for me once the pizza is out of the oven. He proceeds to tell me, it will cost extra as a topping. I ask why is it free online while I am being charged here as a “extra topping” He said that’s just the policy. I then replied ok go in and punch in free garlic and if it comes up as a topping I will gladly pay it. Then I mention that the oregano shaker, olive oil and pepper flakes are extra as well? If you punched them into the register it would show as an extra topping ? Obviously not, because they are free complimentary items. He then decides to do me a favour and ask which pizza I’d like it on, in which I kindly denied.
All this non sense for a free item listed on your site/app.
I wasn’t paying for a listed free item, period. The resolve I would like to see out of this is retraining for that cook/chef, as well as the cashier who stood there clueless. He should have stepped in and said yes it is free item and there is no charge. And we also did not enjoy the pizza ! Dissatisfied over someone trying to just blatantly scam us! Ultimately this has nothing to do with the free garlic topping, it is mainly due to this chef/cook trying to scam us. For anyone else, make sure to double check receipts / order in case this location tries to charge you for a free item listed on their app / site.
I’ll never go back due to...
Read moreKept ordering pizza until I realized they seriously expect tip for take out orders! They just set the debit machine up and if you skip it, they sort of insult you with their behavior. If you do not pay them tip, the workers not only say nothing in response to your appreciation and thanking, but also look at each other in surprise like you are an idiot. First of all they should know they just provide take out food and you do not serve it like an actual restaurant in which they lay a nice table, bring the plates, food, drinks etc. Secondly, Ontario is not like state of Florida in which paying gratitude is an obligation, and still, it is obligatory only in luxury restaurants like the one explained above not a take out pizza store! If someone likes to tip you, they would ask you to set the machine up to do so or would give you change. Never went back...
Read moreVery cheap on their cheese. You tell me if my pizza looks appetizing.
1st time here. I ordered a medium regular swiss cheese with Tiny cup pepperoni. There were several slices with empty cheese spots (swiss maybe doesn't melt the same - even then, no excuse to do nothing about it) the Cardboard Pizzaiolo is seen in photo.
I called and all they just said "ma'am that's our regular cheese" and don't care.
Tip: buy somewhere else if you want a pizza that actually has cheese on the whole thing. Pizza hut never has this happen, Pizza Nova seems fine too. Another Pizzaiolio location was good too. Going further to get good pizza.
Worst location. In addition, I also had to wait 30-45 minutes for this pizza (sitting there) that was supposed to take 15-20 minutes.
Tip: You'll need to order double cheese to get cheese on the whole pizza, which is...
