Tonight, I had the pleasure of encountering two outstanding kitchen heroes at Your Shawarma Royale in Eglinton. These two remarkable ladies from Nepal exemplified the true spirit of hospitality, serving me with genuine smiles and warm demeanor. As a chef myself, I have immense respect for kitchen staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes, often sacrificing their personal lives for the sake of their craft.

What struck me most was their unwavering commitment to excellence, even when faced with challenging situations. When the last customer of the night appeared, (like me) they could have easily said no, but instead, they went above and beyond to serve with kindness and generosity.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shawarma Royale (250 Eglinton Ave E, Toronto, ON M4P 1K2), and it has been an amazing experience every time. Their Beef and Lamb Shawarma Rice Bowl is absolutely delicious—a perfect combination of tender beef and lamb mixed with fragrant rice, topped with fresh coleslaw and juicy tomatoes. The blend of hot sauce, tahini sauce, garlic sauce, and chipotle sauce adds the perfect balance of spice, creaminess, and smoky flavor, making each bite incredibly satisfying.

A huge shoutout to Puja and Sakeel for their excellent service! Their friendly and welcoming attitude, along with their attention to detail in preparing and serving the food, truly elevates the dining experience. They always ensure the meal is served fresh and exactly the way I like it.
