I was visiting Toronto with my family from Trinidad in the Caribbean. If anyone knows Trinidad, we have the most amazing delicious food. So we were on a search in Toronto for a delicious meal. My friend who lives in Canada recommended Poulet Rouge and she emphasized that we must try the one specifically in Eaton centre, as the service is amazing. Let me tell you .... she was absolutely right. The customer service was exceptional. All of the employees were so friendly and helpful. And the gentleman who I think was the owner was so welcoming and informative when my mom asked about the different flavors for the chicken etc as she is a very picky eater. What was also very impressive was the cleanliness of the place. That is always of extreme importance to us. The meals were so delicious and my mom said it was the best meal that she had in Toronto on her trip . And trust me....us trinis are hard to please lol. Will definitely visit again when I come...

I decided to give this place a try, and as I write this review, I’ve already been back four times. The food is consistently fresh, healthy, and delicious. The portion sizes are generous for the price, and the staff are incredibly accommodating. When I was unsure about the flavours, they even offered me a free sample to help me decide. Highly recommend!

Update: I’ve definitely come back here many more times since my fourth visit, my twin sister put me on, and I’m so glad she did! The staff are always so kind and welcoming every single time. My opinion has not changed, this place is still way better than most places in the food court. It tastes clean and flavourful, not greasy or heavy like other places. Honestly, this has become my favorite spot for outside food. My favourites are the rouge bowl and the poutine. I always get lots of toppings. Even my parents, who always tell me to eat at home, actually approve. That...

I had never been here before until this past Friday. The bowls looked healthy but I was looking for something less healthy, so I went for the poutine with chicken on top. I requested the volcano sauce for my chicken and whatever their hottest sauce was on top. It looked at amazing at the end and was thinking that this could be my new place. The looks were deceiving. The chicken was thin and lacking volume and substance. There was 0 heat - 0. When I order food with names like Volcano, I expect it to be at least very hot. The hot sauce wasn’t hot either. Cheese curds average - I can tell by the way they melt. Gravy was okay and the fries were decent. Customer service was very good but overall no value for me on this dish. I would go back to try the healthy bowl, but it looked like those bowls had same chicken portions and I know there is no spicy options here. Too many other options to settle for another visit...

I finally had the chance to try Poulet Rouge, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Their grilled chicken bowls are fresh, flavorful, and fulfilling—perfect for a satisfying and healthy meal. With the large bowl, you get four generous pieces of perfectly cooked chicken and a wide variety of toppings to choose from. I’ve tried both the Volcano and Lemon chicken, and they were both succulent and delicious. The portions are more than generous, and even during the lunch rush, the staff were quick, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. The freshness of the ingredients and the overall quality of the food make Poulet Rouge one of the best food establishments in the Eaton Centre—if not the best. A huge bonus is that it’s halal, making it easily the top halal option in the mall. I would highly recommend Poulet Rouge for anyone looking for a delicious, fresh, and satisfying meal.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place! The staff are amazing and entertaining. They saw that we were deciding if we were going to order from them and offered us a sample. 100% sold us. While we were waiting, they were chatting with us and telling jokes. They also realized they made an error with one of the chicken flavors and gave us more chicken! The food was really good! Very healthy alternative to everything else available at the mall. We ended up getting three of the rouge mini bowls -some with a lettece base and some with the brown rice base-and that was more than enough for dinner. Everything was fresh, the flavors were all very good (BBQ and garlic). Atmosphere... well it was a mall food court and it was busy so you can see why I rated it a meh... 10/10 would eat here again.
