Built in 1847 with timber from the 'surrounding forests' and 'ballast slate' from passing ships? Yeah, and I built the CN Tower with a screwdriver and good intentions. This place screams old-world tech and lost history.. but sure, let's pretend a handful of settlers just whipped up a Gothic masterpiece between hunting beavers and surviving winter. No cranes, no power tools, just vibes and a donation from a lady across the ocean. Makes perfect sense. If you're into fairy tales disguised as plaques, it's a must-visit.

Absolutely beautiful and important church tucked away by Eaton Centre that you could miss if you didn't know what you were looking for. It's easily one of the more architecturally beautiful churches in the area and makes for lovely photography. They do a lot for their community.

Friendly father and sisters. I volunteer there at Christmas Eve as I'm an international student so I have nobody to celebrate christmas with. They perform The Christmas Carol and it's very good, highly recommended. They also sell hot chocolate and cookies before the show.

I bought my lunch at the Trinity café. I hadn't been for a few years. Outside I noticed the sign for music at lunch in the church. This is a practicing church right? The program began at 12:15 and it was around 12:30 but a man outside on the steps invited me in irregardless. I was pleased. Inside the church was a woman who asked me for $10 to enter. I dug out my wallet luckily it had 2-5 $ bills. There was a small sign and clear plexiglass looking box with money in it. I did notice all(most) seemed to be $5 bills that much I could see without my reading glasses on. The cash box woman nodded yes it's $10. I handed her my bills. I didn't make a sound and during song break took a seat in the church. Eventually I put my glasses on noticing the bill said pay what you can. Huh? I tried to stay in the moment listening to the heavenly gifted artists' performances. When the session ended I asked the cash box woman why she charged me $10? She shrugged her upper torso and head. I should have put my reading glasses on read the sign and deposited myself into the plexiglass box my pay what you can contribution. Another one now in the church foyer made some excuse while hushing me persuading me to the exit. I felt strong armed by ladies in a church?! Artists = 10 stars. I'm not sorry I chose the opportunity to hear you share your beautiful gifts. Money in the temple...

The Church of the Holy Trinity is an LGBT friendly Anglican church located in the heart of downtown Toronto 's Entertainment District. Established in 1847, this historic landmark is now surrounded by the Toronto Eaton Centre. Today it pays a key role in helping the cities most needy providing services for the urban homeless population. Throughout the early years of the Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto, this church provided this LGBT oriented ministry with a space to worship. This venue plays host to several music, arts and political events throughout the year. A small Cafe is located on the premises. Definitely a place to visit if your are interested in checking living historic landmarks...

I went there close too the end of last month because the meal is free. I first stopped at the area where you can ask for anything you need like sweatshirts, t shirts, feminine napkins, toiletries. After that like usual I waited in line for free lunch and coffee. This day they did not have a big lunch a hot dog other days I have definitely gotten more food than that. I usually relax outside and eat my lunch for fresh air but when I saw the police car it intimidated me not like it should I am not there too do crime but its just a...
