Nice place to stop in, have one of their many unusual/different beers and while you're at it, try some of their food. I would not say they are a restaurant, more a pub first with upscale pub food. Having said that, both meals I've had were both filling. Had 2 of their sours (beer) - the raspberry is good if you like raspberry. Have also had their roast beef and bison/beef burger - both I would rate 4 stars. Both were a little over-cooked for medium-rare for the roast beef and medium for the hamburger... but still tasty. Their BBQ chicken wings with the chive-yogurt are some of the best wings I've had and I would highly recommend them for an appetizer. Had a hot chocolate for a night-cap - which was good, maybe a little rich, but a 4 star as well. They also have a selection of alcoholic night-cap drinks with coffee and hot chocolate that sounded good, but maybe a little pricey at $13.50+ per drink. The atmosphere is also nice and quaint. It's a small place, maybe 15 people can sit inside and maybe another 15 out on the patio. I went on a Sunday night, apx 8pm and there was no wait and was able to choose outside or in. Outside is nice and I would recommend that if you can get it... but the inside atmosphere is nice as well. Summary: Nice quaint pub with a selection of different beers, food upscale and different, quaint.

I went to this restaurant with a couple of guys from my office for a bite after work. The ambience was nice and very old school looking. They have a beautiful back patio if you can get seating there it’s recommended. They have a nice drink selection of hard liquor and beers on tap. Tonight we all had the same thing which was the bison burger. It was tasty and not over the top with toppings more of a classic burger. We shared their famous fries which are a mix of frie and potato chip they were delicious. House salad had a nice dressing on it as well. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet nice spot for a after work dinner or even a date night.

Rating closer to a 3.5. The service was excellent and the place is unique and cozy with patio options. The place comes with good history and great for catching up with drinks. There is a great drinks menu (including virgin drinks). The food option for brunch/lunch is simple but still with good amount of choices. The kettle fries are kettle chips (unique). The food overall is mediocre. It's clean and in good portion but nothing too special or amazing tasting.

This place keeps the "progress" pride flag up. Not sure why they can't put anything up for Canada day or for Remembrance..... the food is alright but I had it way before they had this up. Would never go again as their values seem out of order.

"Obviously, you have never entered our establishment or are not very observant. We prominently display a Canadian flag and also have an original Ontario flag with Remembrance Day poppies on it to honour our veterans. We display these flags along with the pride flag to show our love , appreciation and acceptance for all. Something that I guess you do not share. Thanks for your review have a nice day."

The owner's condescending message that clearly shows the thin veil of "acceptance for all".

I'm not talking about you interior and you know that. Never in my 3 years of living here have I seen a Canadian flag nor a display for veterans put up on the exterior of the building for all to see. In fact you have two "progress" flags on your establishment for the exterior when you bring out your fold up sign.

"Acceptance for all" is the empty motto you hide behind when Canada day and Remembrance are very different than pride which has become increasingly publicly indecent. The gender theory aspect is rich when it's entire concept is about denying yourself so much you try to be something you never can be. The largest pediatric gender clinic is getting shut down in 2024 with plenty of lawsuits pending. Countries like Sweden and Finaldn have halted "affirming treatments" for those 18 and under and the NHS (national health service in the UK) has changed so many of its guidelines around the mental illness known as gender dysphoria even going as far as to discourage basic social transition on prepubertal kids.

You support one of the biggest medical scandals of our time that hides behind the words "love" and "acceptance" and disgraces those terms that are more than superficial mottos.

Yes, people don't agree with it because it teaches self hate and is based on so many lies and radical activism. It's empty virtue signalling at best and irreversibly damaging at worst to many people who aren't being given a voice and are being ignore by the likes of supporters such as your business is.

I don't need you to wish to have a nice day. That is self gratifying for you and that's fine. Your wishes don't determine how well my day goes.

Maybe you should wish for detranistioners to have peace with a life that will never be the same or what it should've been. Maybe support Detrans Awareness in March to show your "love and acceptance for...

we were driving through the area and wanted to get something to eat and grab a beer. We finally found some parking and just walked to the first random place that had an outdoor patio. This place ended up being an unbelievable surprise. First of all the waiter that greeted us was so cheerful and so welcoming it made you already happy to be there. Then we ordered our drinks and they had a very impressive beer list as well as cocktail list. We started off with the wings as an appetizer and only got the half portion. We wished we would have gotten full order because they were probably the best wings we've ever had. We went with the barbecue sauce and it was very flavorful and the wings were perfectly cooked. I also appreciated that they threw some chips on the plate so that the wings were more than just an appetizer, you could actually make a meal out of it. I ended up getting the roast beef as my meal and again was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't the typical roast beef you got at most restaurants. You could tell that this was cooked to order and garnished just right. We ended up topping off the meal with a hot chocolate that was so rich and creamy, It made the perfect dessert. we live nowhere near the area but if we ever come back again this will definitely be a place...
