Edit: I removed two stars from my original post because of an experience I had recently. I ordered through SkipTheDishes and it took 2 hours to finish making the food. I watched as 2 or 3 different couriers waited around for the food to be ready for pick up as the progress bar remained at a halt for the majority of the time. I contacted SkipTheDishes twice to find out what was happening but they couldn't confirm. On top of being super hungry and disappointed, I was a little skeptical of the food. When it finally did arrive, I asked the courier if he had any idea what happened and explained that I didn't think it was his fault, as had been suggested by the delivery company, but he didn't know either. So I called the restaurant and very politely explained to the woman who answered that the food had taken quite a while and asked if she had an idea why. I even offered a concession and suggested that I would understand if they were just really busy. She was SO rude to me. She acted like I was causing an extreme inconvenience to her by even asking what the delay may have been. She was not apologetic in the slightest and in the end nothing was resolved. The upside was that I was so irritated, I didn't even particularly want the questionable food that was eventually brought to me. I normally wouldn't remove 2 stars based on one experience but I didn't go into full detail in my story as to exactly how rude this woman was to me.
This was my original review: Mouth-watering butter chicken. I would eat it every day for the rest of my life and be very happy. The staff are...
Read moreThis place has become my go-to spot for late-night cravings, and for good reason – it never disappoints.
First off, let's talk about the food. Sizzler Kebab serves up some of the most mouthwatering kebabs I've ever tasted. From juicy chicken tikka to succulent lamb seekh kebabs, each bite is a flavor explosion that leaves me craving more. And let's not forget about their signature dish – the mixed grill platter. It's a carnivore's dream come true, with a generous assortment of meats grilled to perfection and served with fragrant rice and fluffy naan bread.
But what really sets Sizzler Kebab apart is the atmosphere. Despite being a late-night joint, the ambiance is warm and inviting, with cozy seating and dim lighting that sets the perfect mood for a laid-back meal with friends. Whether you're coming in after a night out or just looking for a casual dinner spot, Sizzler Kebab has got you covered.
And let's not forget about the service. The staff at Sizzler Kebab are always friendly and attentive, making sure that every visit is a pleasant experience. They're happy to make recommendations and accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions, ensuring that everyone leaves satisfied.
In conclusion, Sizzler Kebab is hands down my favorite after-hours spot in Toronto. With its delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service, it's the perfect place to satisfy those late-night cravings. If you haven't checked it out yet, do yourself a favor and make a trip to Sizzler Kebab – you...
Read moreI hate to do this but I had to. Do NOT order the Biryani from here. Just don't, you will regret it. The WORST Biryani I've ever tasted in my life. I couldn't even finish more than a few bites. Honestly, it tastes nothing like Biryani, looks nothing like Biryani. Not sure if they messed up my order but it was that bad. First of all, I got lamb Biryani, massive chunks of horribly cooked BONE, yes, majority was bone. First of all, I'd expect your business to be mindful when doing portions, especially if you're trying to keep customers. I barely had any meat, which would have been FINE if the Biryani was actually Biryani. Absolutely no flavour, tasted like middle eastern rice as opposed to Biryani. I never waste time doing these reviews with such details unless I really feel like I was finaggled and in this case I felt the need to have to come and point out how bad it really is. Hands down the worst Biryani I've ever tasted. I ordered it on Uber eats based on the high ratings but wow, really the worst Biryani. If you don't believe me I advise you to try it for yourself and think of this review when you do. I still can't believe they said this is Biryani. I'm still trying to figure out if they gave me the wrong order or something because it's not Biryani. Absolutely...
