Our fav sushi spot in whole Toronto. Like these guys don’t even have insta, but I see they’re pretty busy with Uber Eats orders. Starting from food 🍱 - Sushi are amazing. Ingredients are fresh, chefs make them fast and they don’t press sushi rolls too much, so roll pieces feel very fluffy instead of a dumped lump of rice with a small piece of fish as in other places. - They have sushi with cream cheese. Maybe it’s more European preference, but I absolutely love rolls with cream cheese, and here they are amazing. - Black dragon gets my nomination for the best one 🍾 - Staff is very pleasant + complimentary green tea and miso soup are always a great thing ☺️ - The space is small and not the most sophisticated, but seems like it’s not designed to be this way anyway. The food here is INCREDIBLE! The portions of the sushi will simply blow you away. Clearly this restaurant is mainly for take out but we chose to dine in as they have 3 small tables. The food is fresh and comes out pretty fast which was great! The server/ host must’ve been having a bad day as he wasn’t in the best of moods. The overall look of the restaurant is a pretty cool mix of a traditional Japanese- mixed with some cool beach vibe- and it’s all snuggled up in the back of a variety store which was totally unexpected but pretty cool! I would highly reccomend ordering out from here and eating the comfort of your own home.

We book this restaurant by mistake, but it turned out pretty good result. We were looking for a seat down restaurant with full service, but when we arrived to notice it’s more like a take out restaurant actually connected with a corner store! They do have a few small tables and seem clean and neat. We end up seat down to have dinner there. The service was good. They offered hot tea, solid and soup, with the main dishes we ordered. We had a good time at this restaurant. The food is fresh with nice presentation. One of the best take out Japanese food in this area.

This place was recommended to me last year. This is more of a takeout place than a dine-in, but they do have a couple of small tables. I wasn’t warned so was skeptical because it’s located in the back of an all-in-one convenience store (convenience store, tiny hardware section, and floral section). The young guy working the cash register was very polite, but nobody else visually appeared to look up or happy from their work. The sashimi was fresh and tasty! The maki rolls were tasty with a good rice ratio, but the disappointing aspect was the fish were tiny chopped up pieces mixed with lots of tempura so not much fish could be tasted and I’m not a huge fan of so much tempura unless I’m aware. The miso soup is plain like any typical sushi joint and the salad was a little fancier garnished with lots of dressing than the typical plain iceberg lettuce. Would...

Upon first inspection, this place seems a little sketchy sitting in the back of a convenience store, but a few weeks ago I decided to try it out during my lunch break, and I've gotta say, it's quickly become my favourite (affordable) sushi place in Toronto! They don't overfill you with rice like many restaurants do and are fair with their fish portions (the slices on their nigiri sushi are especially generous, definitely recommend if your looking for some proper, delicious nigiri)! Everything tastes fresh, the staff are friendly, and they occasionally add a free bowl of miso soup or an extra piece of sushi or two to the order (thank you!) which is just so kind and generous! Definitely recommend! P.S. I'm the co-woker of the previous reviewer...
