T.O.'s Kathi Roll Eatery Scarborough — Restaurant in Toronto

Very bland food and lacked flavors.

We ordered the spicy mogo, chicken tikka kathi roll, chilli crunch munch and a side of tandoori Mac n cheese.

The spicy habenaro mogo was super oily and the filling lacked taste and was not filled completely. Not sure if it had any habenaro topping as it wasn't spicy at all.

Chili crunch much was not at all spicy (even after ordering spicy) and again lacked flavors. Also the chicken patty was small compared to size of the bun. Same goes for Mac n cheese which lacked flavors and hardly had any cheese in it.

Considering the order cost of $57 and the lack of taste, it's not worth in our opinion.

The sauce which they put over fries seems to be a common one as it was there in burger and roll also so even after ordering different items you don't get a different taste.

The order was takeout and the only option to provide feedback back to management was via this medium, considering your response below I'm sure the feedback has gone to the management as well.

Would have appreciated if in your response you had also mentioned something regarding the comments on food size and flavors. The response from your end was only focused on effective communication and customer relationships while completely ignoring the comments on food, which was the core...

10 minute wait for 2 rolls seems quite long. It’s made longer by the rather strong odour of dirty/damp rags being used to clean tables or the floor over and over without replacement or washing.

The two rolls were… edible. Just. The roti was tough and chewy and quite thick. The fillings can only be described as catastrophic. The chilli chicken tasted suspiciously like bottled hot and sweet maggi ketchup. The achaari chicken had not a hint of cumin, fennel, or nigella seeds. Tasted mainly like chicken cocked down in overly sour yogurt. I’ll grant them that the French fries included in the meal deal were quite tasty but… why French fries???

At $10/roll for their lunch “special”, it’s not worth it. The serving is small even after accounting for the French fries. At $13/roll (without fries) at other times this is nothing short of a...

The taste of the food was bland and everything was with the same taste. We ordered chilli kathi roll and paneer shashlik and the ingredients were same. I personally didn’t feel anything different. And the customer service is bad as the employees were rude and misbehaving with us. The employees are undertrained and don’t know the meaning of customer service as they were laughing on us giving slangs to us. The owner of the restaurant EKTA GHERWAL’s husband was shouting and using slang words to us. The owner and employee both are bullying and are trying to make it seem like it’s not their fault to be rude and misbehaving. I recommend not to visit here. It was very disappointing and the food was smelling bad and they didn’t gave us any refund...
