My dentist office and dog vet are in the close vicinity so this is my third visit at this restaurant and location. In terms of service, it can be a bit hit and miss depending on who's working. The first time there was a girl who was really nice, friendly and bubbly. The second time, there was a guy running the store. He didn't seem to put much care into his appearance and was talking on his phone even while preparing the food the entire time I was in the store. He didn't appear to care much about the customer service and kind of seemed to throw the food together. It was still super tasty though so I came back for the third time. The third time, (which is when these photos were taken), was a really nice experience. The girl was super kind and friendly and was willing to go the extra mile. She put a lot of care into the food and how it was prepared and it was just a very pleasant experience. She seemed happy to be there and it honestly completely erased the negativity from the second time when the guy served me. The food has ALWAYS been amazing. The Korean BBQ wrap is what I always order and am never disappointed. Their fries are always fried perfectly also. Whatever their doing, the timing and flavours are always on point and I've never been disappointed in the food. In fact I've left bragging about the food after every visit I've had at Tahinis and highly recommend it to friends and family. Whenever I'm in the area, that will definitely be the spot I go to eat. The combo deals really make a difference in price, which is really nice. Otherwise the food can be seen as priced slightly on the higher end. Still worth it in my opinion. I get the Korean BBQ whether it's the deal of the day or not. The restaurant is in a very busy area at Jane and Bloor so unless your lucky to get an open parking spot on the street, it can be difficult to access with a car. There is local Green P parking but it's about a 5 minute walk away. It is extremely close to the subway system so easily accessible by bus and train. The restaurant is usually very clean, always bright and relatively calm with the radio playing. Great place to bring a friend if you work in the area. Will be coming back shortly either after a vet visit or after the dentist. See you soon Tahini's and thank you!!!!

[Worst customer service by manager]. Hey so I am a regular customer of this store you can say in-store and Uber eats as well , i ordered falafel and rice bowl on April 1 evening time , I know there is no option for cutlery on Uber eats or to add notes so I call the restaurant and ask them for utensils they said okay , just because I ordered at my workplace I don't have any utensils to eat that's why I asked for one , now (the guy forgot) even after calling at the store I didn't get utensils, what kind of standards they are maintaining I don't know or there employees are not properly trained, now here comes a twist I called at the store and guy named (yunus) he is telling me it's a very small mistake and his tone , his attitude was like at a very different level, I asked him about who is your manager I want to speak to him , he be like I am the manager, do whatever you want and I have the proof too , if this is how they treat regular customers then sorry I don't want to visit this place keep your attitude with you and if you don't know how to treat your customers I can't handle it , I guess no one can anyways I have to throw the food in the garbage no other options

I stopped by Tahini on Bloor Street recently, and it quickly became one of my go-to spots for quick, tasty Middle Eastern food. The place is casual but clean, with a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for a quick lunch or dinner on the go. What really stands out here is the shawarma wraps. They are absolutely delicious—packed with tender, juicy meat that’s been perfectly marinated and roasted. Whether you go for chicken or beef, each bite is full of flavor. The wraps are stuffed with fresh toppings and just the right amount of sauce, all tucked into warm, soft pita bread. It’s the kind of shawarma that hits the spot without being overly greasy or heavy. Another big plus is the service. It’s consistently quick and efficient, even when there’s a line. The staff are friendly and clearly know what they’re doing, so you never have to wait too long. Prices are also reasonable for downtown Toronto, especially given the portion sizes. You leave full and satisfied every time. If you’re around the area and craving a proper shawarma wrap that’s done right, Tahini is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be coming back!

!!DO NOT EAT HERE!!

I usually do not take the time to review places I eat at even if they are not great, but this place is particularly bad and potentially a health hazard.

Less than 2 hours ago I ordered a chicken and falafel wrap, falafel and a salad on the side and there was something seriously wrong with the food. My girlfriend and I felt it not sitting well with us immediately after eating it.

The falafel in particular had something really wrong with it. It had a very bitter taste like one of the ingredients had gone completely bad.

I asked for extra cheese on the salad and it was given to us with a few crumbs of feta cheese and the even worse the salad dressing tasted like kraft salad dressing that had been left in the fridge for far too long. The cucumbers and cherry tomatoes were also not fresh.

Despite only having a portion of our meal before tossing it our stomach is not feeling well.

I tried calling several times after our meal to warn the person working there that something was wrong with their food and not to serve it to customers but their phone line didn't seem to be working.

It is NOT okay to serve this kind of...
