IVE BEEN HEARING PPL & FRIENDS RAVE ABOUT THIS PLACE, BUT THEN I SEEN A POST THAT MY COUSIN SHARED. SHE ORDERED FOOD FROM TASTYS TODAY, & HAD IT DELIVERED BY DOORDASH. AS THEY WERE ABOUT TO DIG IN ALL THAT TASTY DELICIOUSNESS, SHE SAW A HUUUUUUGE COCKROACH IN THE FOOD!?!? SHE THEN WAS BLOCKED BY THEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA!! 1. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS??? 2. ASIDE FROM COVID, SHOULDNT WE ALL BE TAKING EXTRA PRECAUTIONARY STEPS TO ENSURE CLEANLINESS?? WAS THIS PLACE EVERRRR CLEAN?? I WOULD NOT TRUST COMING HERE, FOR ALL I KNOW THEY PROBABLY JUST PICK THE BUGS OUT AND KEEP SERVING/SELLING!? first time coming here and i’ll definitely be back!! i have walked past this place so many times and finally decided to try… i was NOT disappointed! got the boneless jerk chicken plate with rice and beans, coleslaw and i also picked up two spicy patty’s! food was made quick, was hot, affordable and very flavorful! the coleslaw and rice and beans were delicious and the chicken was sooo tender and super full of flavour! the spicy beef patty was also excellent. nothing was overly spicy and the portions were plentiful! no way you’re hungry after one of these plates and a patty (which are also a good size!) i will definitely be back in the future!! can’t wait to try more items on the menu. thanks guys and keep doing what you’re doing!

So I decided to visit Kensington and got hungry but all the food around was a bit to hipster and vegan for me I found this place walked in during closing but the boss told me it's all good closed up and made my sandwich extra amazing and huge I wanted to take photos of the masterpiece as I shoved two amazing home made patties inside ! Out of the 3 he gave me.... ... The food was amazing delicious the coleslaw creamy and the chicken tender perfect spice and my god I devoured it..saving one patty for later but must say was one of the most amazing jerk chicken sandwich on a coco bun I ever had make sure to shove a patty inside and he generous with the colsaw!

So, my girlfriend and I are Trinidadian, I was born here, and she actually lived there for most of her life... Anyways, we've been on a doubles hunt, trying to find the best doubles in the GTA. We decided to check here because of their reviews... OUR BIGGEST REGRET. The doubles was sooo stale. It was quite sad. Especially since they only sell them on Wednesday's to Friday's, PLUS, their wicked looking menu. They had a sign that said "have a complaint? Tell us." but... We were too shocked that they even offered that to a customer. Im sure their other food may be good but, we were so turned off by that stale doubles we didn't even bother. First impression is what counts man. I understand if your food taste bad, then you're just not authentic. But stale food?! Whu.. What?! Sorry Tasty's, but, that was just sooo disappointing idk how to feel... So long to your "A dream to bring the best of the Caribbean to your doorstep..." and your "...menu is made fresh daily..." intro on your site.

I wish it wasn't so disappointing. =(

(The doubles was not only crap, but the most expensive too!!! $2.50 plus tax!!! Calm...

This place is TOP NOTCH in every aspect! Customer Experience = EXCEPTIONAL! Service Delivery = EXCEPTIONAL! Food quality/quantity = EXCEPTIONAL! Food deliciousness = EXCEPTIONAL! I placed a catering order with Ricardo December 2019 for an employee event to be held in Spring 2020; of course due to Covid, it didn't happen. When I contacted Ricardo, he completely reassured me that our order was safe and would be available whenever we were ready. He was true to his word, he fulfilled our order in Sep 2020. The entire experience was amazing - the event was split over 2 days and 4 orders and he got it all right. Food was delivered hot and fresh; portions were very generous and most important, food was delicious --- every employee loved it and appreciated what we did for them (a really nice change from typical boring catering sandwiches) Thank you Ricardo/Tasty's for making over 250 our our...

I ordered the boneless goat roti and bbq chicken and rice and peas, with a side rice. The roti was big, well flavored, but coulda used more goat. There was lots of bbq chicken, rice peas and gravy was yummy. I made the mistake in asking for extra sauce on the chicken, which was to spicy for my partner. As a fan of spice and hot sauces, i tried it. I didnt really care for it. Taste like a bbq and sriacha sauce. Overall the meal was big, decently tasted and was ready quick. Sadly the whole meal was cold and the sauce on the chicken, explains the 2 stars missing. I did order from uber eats, but the food got here suprisingly quick.

Plus- Lots of tasty food Negative- Was cold and sauce on the chicken was not needed. Id recommend, if someone asked. Otherwise, for jamaican, id direct elsewhere. Ill try again and change this review...
