We came here on a Friday evening during a rush of people, the cashier was friendly but it was unfortunate that she was the only employee at the front who had to deal with all the ordering customers, uber eats pick-ups, and making milkshakes.

This was the first visit since a year ago, and we both ordered the OG hamburger. Although the burger tasted amazing and all the ingredients are fresh (as always), I did notice the patty is half the size it used to be, perhaps as a means to cut costs, but it is very unfortunate for loyal customers. I wish I took a photo, but even looking at the google review photos posted a few months ago, our patties were noticeably smaller. The patties should be a standard ounce.

We also ordered the poutine, the fries are are perfectly crispy while chewy with flavourful gravy and cheese curds. However, considering the gravy is already salted, there is just too much salt added to the fries.

Hopefully they can address these concerns in the near future, but I would still go back again as a customer because no other burger place in the area is as good as...

You ever have a burger that completely changes your perspective on life?

I'm born again into the Church of food, thanks to the baptism that was the food at Burger Priest.

Burger Priest is a local legend ans hot tourist spot to go grab a bite. I was sent here by some locals and fellow foodies.

So, how was the food?

Banger.

The burger was biblical when it comes to taste, the fries unmatched. They were so good to the point I couldn't stop, I wanted to order more.

I haven't had fresh cut fries taste this good in a long time.

The restaurant vibes were on point too.

My only gripe was the wait, so come prepared to do that. We waited 20 minutes in line to order, then another 20 for food.

Was it worth it? Yes, because nothing else was really open at 1am on a weekday.

Would I wait that long again? No, not for myself at least, I would for a new comer or a new friend checking it out.

The experience is worth the wait.

Additionally noted is there is no wheelchair or accessibility friendly entrance, which disappointed me.

Overall great and I...

I ordered delivery from Burger Priest directly through their website, and the experience was disappointing. The bag was left open at my door with no notification of delivery. The bag was poorly sealed with a single sticker on the receipt, which caused it to open during transit. When I called, the manager explained they don’t use staples for "sanitary reasons," which didn’t make sense since most restaurants use secure sealing methods including staples to secure their delivery bags. The food arrived freezing cold, and because it was so cold, all I could taste was the greasy oil in the battered burger bun. I honestly couldn't even eat it, and despite my dissatisfaction, they refused to issue a refund. This was my first and last time ordering from Burger Priest. I do not recommend it at all.

I reached out to them as requested below in their response, but it seems like Burger Priest prioritizes buying positive Google reviews over genuinely assisting their customers. Once again, I...

Amazing price and portions - especially in Toronto! Hot dog options - not your average dogs. Vegan, chicken, beef burgers with fresh toppings.

An OK experience overall. The menu at this joint definitely does not reflect the online menu and there is only one vegan option which is a shame as the mushroom patty sounds dope but contains dairy, also to note, randomly the jalapeños also contain egg based on the way they fry them. I hate to sound harsh, but have trouble justifying a good review for a burger joint that advertises vegetarian burgers which you buy frozen from a grocery store. I hauled a Beyond Burger Double whilst on a lunch whim in downtown which wasn’t the most incredible tasting or anything special to be honest. It was also super difficult to eat and I ended up having to use a knife and fork to save my clothes, bit of a grease fest. The hot sauce is also so far from spicy, it comes across more like ketchup. I combo’d this with fresh cut fries which were not thoroughly cooked and tasted very bland and chewy. The staff are super nice and friendly, but the tastyness of the grub just isn’t up to scratch unfortunately.
