I ordered at the kiosk and was asked what I ordered when i arrived at the pickup area. I was then told I was wrong and that was not what I ordered. I figured I had made a mistake and said okay give me what I ordered and I'll be on my way. I received a toasted bisquit and old potato wedges, but was certain I had added an Ice Cap to my order so I stood there waiting. Upon an employee asking I was once again told that I was wrong and I did not order that. I asked for a receipt which clearly stated that I ordered exactly what I had originally thought, a breakfast sandwich combo with an Ice cap.
Even though me and the employee both had receipt in hand, she told me I was wrong and that the price was too low, that an ice cap should cost less than $2. I told her I got the combo and that the receipt only states it's under $2 because it was an upcharge. I was then told I was wrong again and that Tim Hortons doesn't have upcharges and if they do they don't appear on the receipt. At this point I wasn't sure who was right but i had paid for something so I said okay, I either need my drink or a refund for I have paid for something. I was then told by the employee she didn't know how to give a refund and there was no manager in. I asked for a managers information and was told immediately that my food would be made for me and not to worry about it, with the reassurance shortly after that I was wrong and the price wasn't correct and that I was getting a deal.
I was told I was a liar on more than one occasion, I had the receipt in hand and was told I was wrong even though it was clearly a problem with the employee not understanding or the kiosk not priced properly. There was no manager, no way for refund, and the only way I recieved my half cooked food was by simply asking to get a manager or supervisors information.
Most employees are pleasant here and I know sometimes people have a tough time understanding or get confused but this was simply the worst experience I have ever had at a Tim Hortons, and most Tim Hortons experiences are unpleasant. Train your employees better, or have a supervisor on hand that can deal with employees that don't have a...
Read moreThis store is hit or miss. Either they will make your order properly, or they will mess up.
On Friday November 18 2022 I made my regular breakfast order (Bagel BELT with sausage instead of bacon, no cheese; Iced Capp; and muffin), and had to wait about 13 minutes for them to re-make my Bagel BELT because, apparently, some other person had taken my Bagel BELT. They kept insisting that my Bagel BELT was on its way, but when they finally asked for my order number six minutes in, my order was no longer in their system. The kicker is that, once I got home, I realized that they had just made me a sausage-and-egg bagel (no lettuce, no tomatoes, no condiments i.e. the "LT" portion of "BELT"). I complained via the online customer service line that same day and have yet to get a response. It is now Monday November 21st.
Then, on Saturday November 19 (the day after), I went in-store to purchase my breakfast, and despite ordering a Bagel BELT with sausage instead of bacon, no cheese; I got a BLT with bacon, sausage, AND cheese, no egg. I had to go back into the store to have them add the egg. The kicker here is that (a) I saw that the cashier was entering my order as a "sausage bagel" and was adding the egg, lettuce, and tomato as surcharges, instead of selecting the "BELT" option on the register [I made her re-enter it correctly]; and (b) when I asked for no cheese, she assured me that cheese was not included. My order came with cheese.
I'm not sure what's going on with this store, but I often dread going there (despite it being closest to my home), because I really don't want to deal with order mistakes first thing in the morning....
Read moreThe Tim Hortons at Regent Park in downtown Toronto is absolutely incredible and stands out as the best location I’ve ever visited. I go there almost daily, and every single time, I’m impressed by their amazing service and commitment to excellence.
The cleanliness of this branch is impeccable. Whether it’s the dining area, counters, or even the floors, everything is always spotless—even during the busiest hours. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment.
What really sets this location apart is their speed and efficiency. Even during peak rush hours, I’ve never waited more than three minutes for my order. The staff handles the rush with such professionalism and friendliness that it feels effortless.
I also have to give a huge shoutout to the manager, Tripti. I think she’s the only manager I’ve ever seen who is consistently available at the opening of a branch. At other Tim Hortons locations, I’ve rarely seen a manager on site early in the day, but Tripti is always there, ensuring everything runs smoothly from the moment the doors open. Her leadership and hands-on approach inspire her team, and it truly shows in the quality of their service.
This Tim Hortons has become a key part of my daily routine, thanks to the amazing team and the outstanding experience they deliver every time. If you’re looking for a fast, clean, and welcoming Tim Hortons in downtown Toronto, this is the place to go. Thank you, Tripti, and the entire Regent Park team, for making every visit...
