Wow, i just received top-class service at the Tim Hortons at St Clair Ave West Vaughan Rd. I always got great service at this location, but this particular interaction was first-class customer service from Ma. FE and Armila.
Ma Fe took my order but generally remembers me and my order. She then mentioned how many Tim's Rewards points I've earned and suggested I use the app to redeem the accumulated points. I mentioned that the app doesn't connect well with my card and has been like this for 1 year. That's when Armila stepped in at the request of MaFe. Armilia took the time to walk me thru the app, which I haven't really investigated at any length except for adding my card to the app, which didn't original connect properly once I installed the app. I updated the Tim's app, and Armila patiently waited until the download was completed. She then walked me through the update and directed me to re-add my physical card to the app. Once completed, Armila showed me my accumulated card points total that was now represented the app. I was very happy with her patience, time, and effort given to me and to help me solve my problem with the app. Armila showed me my options for ordering next time when I returned to this location, and she showed me that I needed to use my points and the expiration area on the app before it gets deleted.
I will always hold this location in high regard for their always pleasant and upbeat attitude and spirit. Thanks, ladies. : ) I believe Armila should get an upgraded/promoted from her position to a managerial role. I asked if she is one, and she replied she wasn't. She would be a great asset to the team if she was upgraded in the...
Read moreApart from free wifi, ample sitting area, and open 24hrs, this location is terrible. Mostly the service. Some are just plain incompetent, slow, and rude. Late night shift isn't bad, never had any issues with them, but that's probably because there is less people coming in around that time. But the day to evening staff is terrible (with one or two that is actually doing their job properly). As some have already mentioned, they are busy talking to each other, or cleaning or stocking while there is a big line up. Only one register open, and usually about 8-10 people in line, while there are about 2-3 employees doing other things. I've been going to this location since it opened, and the service has always been like this. The thing I dislike the most, is when they ask if they can help you, and as soon as you start to give your order, they will turn away and start talking to one another. It doesn't matter if it's about work or not, the fact that some turn away after they just asked what you want. And then they would make you stand their and wait till they are done talking. That's...
Read moreThis Tim Hortons location is a complete letdown. This is my second bad experience, and once again, mobile orders are treated like an afterthought. I live 10 minutes away (walking distance) and place mobile orders expecting them to be ready by the time I arrive, but that’s never the case. Today, I arrived, and despite there being no one in line, I waited an additional 15 minutes on top of the 10 it took me to get there. Only my coffee was ready, and no one was even at the sandwich station. When I asked, the worker, Jaspreet, gave me an impatient “one second” with no real urgency.
To make things worse, the bread was dry and hard, making the food not even worth the wait. I placed my order well in advance, yet somehow, at 7 AM when I’m rushing to work, I’m standing there for 25 minutes with no apology or explanation. The bag was practically thrown at me when I finally got my order.
At this point, I’d rather spend my money at Starbucks. At least their service is worth...
