Visited Thai Noodle for lunch on a weekend and it wasn't very busy. It was quiet for a Saturday but It became more busy later in the afternoon. This restaurant offers both dine in and takeout options. Parking is paid street parking (Green P) Lunch specials are offered from 12-3pm and prices are reasonable. Items ordered were the Thai Noodle Khao Soi (Tofu) and Seafood Ba Mee (Egg Noodle). The taste and overall flavours felt very authentic. Loved the spices in the Thai Noodle dish! Portion was reasonable in comparison to the price and quality of the food. Overall, the people here were very kind. Service is a bit slow but there was only one server at the time. He still made effort to check up on us and make sure we had everything we needed. I would be happy to visit and try out their other dishes when I'm in the area. I definitely recommend!

Was in the area to go do something important and was feeling a bit hungry as it was peak lunch hour and the tummy was growling. Decided to give Thai noodle a try as I was feeling for some Thai food. They had a sign that displayed their daily lunch specials between 12-3pm. Walked in and it felt the ambient vibe with a couple that just finished their meal. As I paid for the meal (Tofu pad Thai) I was told it would be around 15mins. That was pretty good timing as lunch hour you are given 1hr and back to work. The food wasn’t too bad, it came with a quarter slice lime and a bunch of tofu which I shared among my four legged friends as I took it to go. Will give this place another go when I’m in the area for a quick bite.

Very happy to find this cute little Thai restaurant. We had the Khao Soi (very good, flavourful), chicken pad Thai (very good, tastes unique compared to some other pad thais), Green curry tofu (insanely hot but good), Tom Yam Koong Sai Sen (very good, very flavourful), and Ba Mee (pork; was ok...everything was in the soup but somehow still tasted dry. Noodles and soup was good.) Service was excellent. Service with a smile, very accommodating. Not above coming back because of the server. Atmosphere was warm, quaint and had a nice view of the weird intersection. Next time I'm probably going to stick to the Khao Soi or Pad Thai. Very, very good good value for very good food.

DISGUSTED AFTER FINDING INSECTS IN OUR ALMOST FINISHED MEAL.

I've lived in the neighbourhood and have come to this restaurant both before and after its renovations. I used to love it.

But last night, we went there. Both my partner and I are vegetarians and are careful to state so when we order, as well as ask for no fish sauce in our meals.

After splitting two dinners, I noticed something funny in our Spicy Eggplant. Then I noticed another thing. After asking my partner to look at it, we realized they were either crickets or grasshoppers. When we pointed it out to the server, she was slightly embarrassed, but giggled and told us it was what they ate, but not to worry, it wasn't a pest infestation (not her words, but the gist of what she was saying). I understand people eat different diets, but I can't understand how that type of cross-contamination would ever happen.

We reminded her that we were vegetarians and didn't eat meat (I consider eating insects meat, although I realize it's mostly impossible to never eat a part of a bug).

They removed the price of the ONE dish from the bill - although that was the dish that arrived first and we really had no interest in eating anything else after (the second dish was approximately half eaten). It was absolutely disgusting. I don't understand how it could have happened and I will...

Poor service, inflexibility on menu items. I was at this restaurant last night with a friend and we wanted to substitute one appetizer for another on a dinner, something that is very common in the restaurant industry. The response was a flat "no". The server wouldn't check with his chef or manager and there wasn't even an option to pay an extra amount to make the change. This was a frustrating start to a dining experience with continued poor service. Before we were finished with our appetizer, the soup and first main was served. We had too many plates on the table and too much food at once. By the time we got through the appetizer, the 2nd main was served. I felt rushed and by the time we got to the mains, they were cold. From that point on we were ignored, except for water refills. When we wanted to leave, we had to go up to their counter to ask for and pay the bill. And when I was returning to leave a small tip on the table, I was immediately followed by our server and a tip was demanded, with an explanation that in Canada a tip was required. This demand, which turned to begging was awful to watch. After feeling quite harassed, I decided not to leave a tip at all and needless to say, I wouldn't return or recommend them. The food was ok, but the dining experience...

The most disappointing meal I've had in a long time.

I've been craving spicy food, so I asked a date to pick a restaurant that had the spiciest food he could think of. He said Thai food is usually super spicy & so we went to thai noodle by Bathurst & st clair

The restaurant was empty an I'm not surprised. It was the most BLAND food I've had outside of a school cafeteria!

I specifically ordered the hottest thing on the menu (a basil & chili dish) the menu put 4 chillis next to it so I was very excited to try it! It came out with NO SPICE WHATSOEVER.

It was so incredibly disappointing! I couldn't even finish it. It was just wet, salty pieces of chicken with some bell pepper & onion. Not even a hint of spice.

The owner was friendly and the service was quick. But I'm definitely not going back. If that's what they consider a "🌶🌶🌶🌶" level of spice, I shudder to think how bland and flavorless everything else on the menu must be.

It's a shame too, I work less than a block away & always walk past this place. It would've been great to find another last minute dinner spot for when I don't feel...
