This is my dad. Although he came to Canada with a civil engineering degree, the accreditation wasn't accepted here so he had to make ends meet by working at a Pizza Pizza. Through hard work, day in and day out, he provided for our family, and gave me a chance to get into McGill and now I am afforded a lot of opportunities. I have worked here, periodically throughout my life. And I can't say that its something I would like to be doing for 20 years as he did. He is a well respected member of the community, next to Albert's Jamaican food and the wonderful, Dutch Dreams Ice-cream shop. Working at such service establishments is hard work. People get angry because there is not enough pepperoni, or there is too much pepperoni. But perhaps sometimes, deep down, its not really about the pepperoni at all. Sometimes people need to take it out on the pepperoni. I love Toronto, it raised me, and we are on our way to building a powerful, multicultural community. So thanks for reading this, and for supporting us with your smiles. - Saul

I parked at the back and went inside to order a pizza for me and my construction crew. Paid and told cashier I was stepping out to make a call, she advised me to take my reciept since I had already gestured that I didn't want it. (Thankfully I did, now I have evidence to dispute the ticket) I made my call, turned around to glimpse at my truck and I had a parking ticket. I went inside showed the teller my ticket. She turned around and asked the lady at the back if she called to have me ticketed and the lady said yes and came to front and proceeded to be rude. They claimed it was my fault and that I had to tell them which vehicle was mine, which is ridiculous! I have never seen anyone do this. I was a paying customer, spending hard earned money.... These people should not be in business.

Listen. I want to like this place. I really do! Its hard to when I go in everytime with the expectation of being super confused about who's taking my order and who ended up taking off with my pizza. The staff are friendly but a little...off. And it's such a recurring thing that it makes me wonder if its almost intentional. I mean, c'mon! This is "some people wanna see the world burn" type of photos. How can I trust such a sadist with my pizza?! The owner is a nice, hard working dude. Extra points for keepin it real

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at your location around 1:00 AM on June 26, 2025. I came in to purchase a slice of pepperoni pizza and a can of Coke.

When I arrived, the staff member on duty was changing the garbage while wearing blue gloves. Once she was ready to serve me, she removed her gloves behind the wall near the refrigerators and came directly to the cash register without washing her hands.

I politely asked if she could wash her hands before handling my food. Her response was dismissive — “I was wearing gloves.” I reiterated my request respectfully, and she walked to the back, presumably to comply. However, she returned almost immediately — far too quickly to have properly washed her hands — wearing the same blue gloves and holding a piece of dry paper towel. The towel was not damp, which further suggested she had not washed her hands at all. Reusing gloves after taking out the garbage and pretending to wash hands is completely unacceptable and unhygienic.

At the end of the transaction, I asked for my receipt so I could document the incident. However, she handed me the wrong receipt, from a different order at a different time, which felt either careless or deliberate.

I am bringing this matter to your attention because I believe it reflects poorly on the standards of cleanliness and customer service expected from a brand like Pizza Pizza. I will also be reporting this incident to the corporate office directly.

I hope management takes this seriously and provides additional training or reinforcement of hygiene protocols to prevent incidents like this...

First of all, before writing this incident I want to thank Hamideh! The lady who works in this Pizza Pizza branch. It’s been a long time I haven’t been to Pizza Pizza so I was craving for a pizza slice on my way back home today, thought I would drop in and eat some. Whilst enjoying my pizza slice, I suddenly realized that my mobile is out of charge and I had an emergency since I was travelling back to my home in the evening and it was snowing a lot too. Unfortunately there was no charging spot loose to my table or any other corner at this store except for one spot where a customer (lady) was sitting close to that area. She was screaming to smone on the call I approached her saying that if I could charge my phone here explaining my whole situation. She denied me right away and said to me find any other spot but not here since my charging cable will come on her way out which was clearly not possible as there was plenty of space between her chair and the charging spot. I got away without getting into a heated argument with her. An employee working there named Hamideh (she was so kind and helpful) ultimately helped me charge my phone there and saved my day. Thank you so much Hamideh!! I have never came across a Staff member like her who can understand customer’s problem as if their own and try to help to their best. People like her should definitely deserve a praise and respect. Thank you! PS. The pizza slice was...
