I would have to say, definitely mediocre at best. The atmosphere was lacking. The service was insanely slow. It seems like a staff of family or friends who are unskilled with service and food.
We waited an insanely long amount of time to have a drinks order (about 30 mins) as well as then ordering food (we had asked and it took about 45 mins for them to come and take our order, even after asking a few times). When the food arrived, some dishes were ok (mediocre at best) and some smaller items were good. The naan was delicious as well as the tikka platter and momos. The rice, we could taste was old.. this was the biryani and the regular rice pulao (we order these all the time at other establishments). The rice tasted like the rice bag and super stale taste. The smell of the bags (plastic or burlap) was permeating to the point we didn't want to continue with it.
The food overall was very bland and did not have a decent authentic flavour. It was very "tailored" or the just pared down on spices. Everyone at the table tried everything and we all agreed. They turned the music off well before cutoff of the restaurant, but they were super slow to come to the table, so not our fault as it took SO long for everything. But with turning off the musit it felt like they wanted us to leave (even though the food just arrived).
To note, the toilets were also quite gross. When you see a ring of orange around the toilet bowl that spells that it hasn't been...

You better believe it when you see it at Raahi. This is not the first time I chose to go to this place, but this is the first time I took a musician friend with me for dinner at this place. What dies that tell you about the place?
Forty five minutes before closing is a bit late for an elaborate five course dinner by my standards. Still, I was pleasantly surprised by the reception we got from Miss Mitre d' and by the encouragement we received to proceed to order the food. 😍
We were going for our usual fare because of our concerns for the limited time before the kitchen closed. Guess what? Our Miss Mitre d' surprised us again. She took our our five course order without a blink and started setting up the plates with a smile. 😍
We stayed beyond the kitchen closing time and barely finished three courses. Our ever smiling Miss Mitre d' saw our pridicament and helped us take the rest of the food with us in appropriate containers. and a handle bag with a flshy logo. 😍
The food was delicious. I recommend this place for any vegetarian without hesitation.
We were so pleased with the food and the service we were glad to give a 20% tip. 😃😍

Read moreI'm not a person who usually post review's of any restaurants but this restaurant's customer service was so bad i had to post a review. So one day during break time from my work i was super hungry i wanted to try one Indian restaurant and this was the nearest one. I went there, order food, waiting there in a table hoping to dine in but what the lady who took the order did was pack the food and just place it infront of me. I told her - I was planning to have the food here, Her reply - You didn't tell me you wanted the food here, the restaurant was almost empty only me and one other couple was there and i was sitting on a table why would they just assume i wanted to take out?. I didn't say anything i simply said it's fine and the next thing she says - open it and eat it i guess. What kind of customer service is this? If i say i wanted to eat there you take the food and bring it in a plate not make me unpack the food and have it. Worst experience ever. I literally wanted get up and leave but i was so hungry. I would suggest anyone to go there. The disrespect i felt i don't want anyone to go through that and the food...
