BE AWARE : This is the only Tim Hortons that I know that doesn’t recognized the Tim Hortons Loyalty Rewards Program. You can’t collect, redeem and partake any of Tim Hortons promotions. It’s so disappointing.
St. Mike’s Hospital which is affiliated to Providence Hospital has 2 onsite Tim Hortons, and they participate the Loyalty Program. Not this place. That means you can’t use the Scan and Pay feature of the Tim Hortons APP.
The kicker is, I paid with a credit card and asked for a receipt. Well, it seemed it was an inconvenience to the employee.
This Tim Hortons location has a limited menu. Once they ran out of the hot items for the day, you are out of luck. They only serve hot breakfast sandwiches, so plan wisely like eating before or after visiting Providence. Basically it’s a place to grab your drinks, donuts and cookies.
This is a chain of Tim Hortons, but it sells food items that are not available in any other franchises like refrigerated cold sandwiches in clear containers and single serving ice cream cones and bars.
It’s located right at the entrance across Providence’s Admission Office. Note: There is NO drive thru available at this site.
No washrooms at this Tim Hortons either, luckily one can use Providence’s washrooms located nearby behind the circular concierge front desk.
Since Providence is a hospital, face masks and hand sanitizer is available at the entrance.
DEAR Tim Hortons: The patients at Providence, they wear hospital gowns without pockets. That means their wallets are at home. They do have their cell phones to communicate with their loved ones and to use for entertainment since their in-room TV is expensive to rent and they use Providence’s wi-fi. So how can they buy anything from you, once they are strong enough to visit you, when you don’t recognize the Tim Hortons APP? Where do they keep...
Read moreI've lived in Toronto/Scarborough/East York my entire life (48 years). I have yet to experience a Tim Hortons that I would without hesitation keep returning too.
The kind of staff you see in all the Tim Hortons commercials is FAR from what you will experience in any store in this city - I don't know about any other parts of Canada how it is though.
So great location for this new one at the corner of Pharmacy & St Clair, small but very nice looking inside and out. You walk in, there is no vibe, there is very poor energy within and throughout. At lease have CP24 on a screen or some music playing - (it's a coffee shop!)
The less than a handful of times I've been in has just been an uncomfortable experience. For example this morning: I walk in to a line up of about 7 people / 2 were already waiting on their order - and only 2 staff members behind the counter?!?!??? For a morning rush?! SERIOUSLY??
The worst part was that the English/understanding from one of the staff members was not quite up to speed as if they had just woken up or something.
My order was quite simple - a medium double double, a bagel BELT and a box of 6 donuts. The coffee was correct, the BELT was on point, but pulling my donut order was a mess. He just could not get it correct and was all confused with the count as was I. The lady had to step in very aggressively in manner and tone and complete the order. Even I was a tad confused at what and how many he had placed in the box - so I just kindly agreed to what kind of donuts and how many the lady confirmed as the line up was growing and I just wanted to get out in embarrassment for them and myself.
I left the store feeling quite uneasy about my overall experience. When I got home, I opened the box of donuts - and of course...
Read moreHi! My health is VERY poor, so this review is late. My PSW told me that I need to make this review, and I waited because I didn't want to only rate it based on one thing that I had. My difficulty: I had your egg salad sandwich and got bad diarrhea from it. I wasn't certain if it was because of your sandwich, so I deliberately ordered it 2 more times to make certain, and yes, I got awful diarrhea all 3 times. 😭 However, I've had some great experiences with a few of your newer employees. One tells me about your special savings once I've ordered something, and that's VERY important to me, since my income is VERY limited. I enjoy the breakfast sandwiches, and your blueberry muffins,...
