TL:DR $6 per person every two hours in order to stay here. If you wanted to stick around for 4 hours you then have to spend $12. It’s not bad at all. Atmosphere light up and music is RNB. Laptops allowed. Wouldn’t recommend for studying, great for socializing. Yes to free wifi.
I came here aiming for a late night cafe as the girlfriend and I had some homework to get done late Sunday. We decided to go with this.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is very lit up and colourful. Lots of LED light play. Lots of happy people, including the staff. The music is soul/RNB and it feels very techy.
Price: It is fairly reasonable when you look at the coffee drinks which are between $4-$8. If you choose to go with foods then you can look at spending way too much but that is common with places. You only need to spend $6 per two hours to use the space, so it is cheap.
Customer Service: Staff are very friendly and welcoming. They respect one another and you can tell by the way they speak of each other when introducing the space. If co worker #1 made the desserts on display, co worker #2 would call over #1 to give him the respect and privilege of speaking on behalf of his own work. It was great to see! They were very quick to help when needed and provided me more drink modifications even long after I had already received my drink (which was initially needing of more creamer which I got help on right away).
Despite my positive experience I do not recommend this spot as a study area because (I think) for the average person it will be hard to focus. The bustle of people and open space with bright lights and colors can be really difficult to focus in. Sometimes the laughter of people (although amazing in its self!) can be disruptive at times. But to come here for a date or socially with friends would be an awesome idea. It is...

We visited other branches before and had a really good experience until this one. The store mistakenly overbooked the table, then threatened and lied to the customers. Punishing the customers because of their own mistake!
We booked a big table for a group of 7 starting from 1:30. At 4:56, the girl with the glasses came to the desk rudely telling us to leave by 5. No explanation, no apology at all! Just making the order! No one told us there is a max limit when we called and came in. We visited other branch multiple times and never heard of any time limit. Until we asked, she said there will be another group arriving at 5. Then she kept saying that there is policy for 2 hr max, but the policy posted in the store clearly said board game requires minimum 2 hr! And she refused to show us the policy she referred, just kept repeating. She even said minimum and maximum are the same meaning! I am wondering if she ever passed her math class, otherwise her math teacher will be very upset. Then the other server came to ask if we could move to a smaller table. But we have 7 ppl and the other group has only 6! They want a larger group to accommodate for a smaller group! HOW DOES THIS EVEN MAKE SENSE!
Until the manager came and said we are ok, everyone left. But 5 minutes later, the first girl came again and wanted to kick us out. She even threatened us to call the police! I have question for the store owner, do you train your employees to call the police on customers because of their own mistake?
Until we left, we received zero apology! If you want to be treated like this, feel free to come to this branch. We would NEVER...
Read moreMy friend and I visited Twilight Café and had a mixed experience. We ordered the Bolognese Cheese Nachos and both got the Sea-Salt Rose Matcha Latte (my friend requested hers with oat milk because she’s lactose intolerant). When the drinks arrived, the server couldn’t tell which one had oat milk. That may seem small, but for people with dietary restrictions, it’s a serious concern. Staff should be more careful in situations like this.
As for the nachos, I noticed something was off with the taste right away. I work in a kitchen myself, so I’m pretty familiar with how ingredients should taste, and I could immediately tell the tomato salsa was spoiled. It had a sour, vinegar-like flavor and was even bubbling, which suggests it had started fermenting. I tasted each component to be sure, and the salsa was clearly the problem.
We let the server know, and while he apologized and got the kitchen to replace it, the response felt a bit too casual considering the food was spoiled. This isn’t just about flavor. Serving SPOILED food can be DANGEROUS. I really hope the kitchen starts double-checking ingredients and tasting things before service. Not everyone may recognize the taste of spoiled salsa, especially when it’s masked by other toppings, which makes it even more concerning.
The replacement nachos were fine, and the drinks were good once we sorted out the milk issue. I wouldn’t rule this café out completely, maybe we just caught them on an off day but attention to food safety and allergen handling definitely needs...
