UPDATE: I contacted the email in the response and haven’t heard back from the business since I posted the original review. Love to come here for my everyday smoothie but I’ve noticed the staff leave the be back soon sign up quite often within the day…. Especially when it’s close to closing. I came to the store twice within 2 hours and the sign was up both times. On the second visit I noticed the cashier was in the corner hiding while the door was locked and the store should’ve been operating for another 30 mins. When I knocked she came to unlock it. I asked if they were closing early and she said no. Grabbed my smoothie and left.

VJ is actually a one-stop shop for all your cafe/lunch needs. Their selection of coffees are excellent (I recommend the Deep Chocolate mocha for my fellow sweet tooths) their juices are delightful (Strongly recommend the Hydrate and Heal, as pictured) and their salads/breakfast jars are THE BOMB. You literally cannot go wrong with anything here. Plus- they have an incredible commitment to sustainability through their bottle return program, where 10 bottles returned gets you a free drink of your choice! VJ- you have my heart. Your staff are incredible. Thank you for being my go-to in the Forest Hill Village ❤️

My go-to juicery in Toronto. I love their signature organic juices as well as their yogurt parfaits, immune boosting ginger shots (tip: these are really nice mixed with hot water and honey), and pantry items like the large jars of organic almonds. Highly recommended!

Great product, but the deposit/ return policy is now sketchy at best. You buy a large OJ at Farm Boy and pay a deposit, but you can’t return there, so you walk to the Village, where they used to take the bottle and either give you the cash, or take the amount off the purchase. Now, randomly, there’s no longer an option: You either use the app and have it count toward future purchases (which will still charge deposits?) or buy something, or leave the cleaned bottle and exit having made a contribution?? Please explain how this is ethical! I am so happy to support local. The farmers from whom I buy local yogurt and kefir seem to understand bottle returns,as does the LCBO. Shop and...
