Wendy's — Restaurant in Toronto

This is the most disgusting Wendy's I have ever seen. Rude, incompetent staff and managers. I have never gotten a correct order from this location. Food and garbage all over the floor, fruit flies in the washrooms, garbage all over the lobby, dried food all over the steel counters, sticky front counter and queue railings, dirty wash clothes hanging into the ice bin for drinks, an employee was changing the garbage (which was overflowing) in the lobby when I walked in, told me he would be with me in a minute, took the garbage to a pile in the kitchen that was visible from the front counter then came right up to start handling food without washing his hands. The manager watched this and did and said nothing. When I spoke to the manager, she would not give me contact information for the management or owners, would not give me her name and said she would not do anything to correct the order that was missing over half of the items ordered. She walked away from me several times rather than dealing with the issue. It was not busy (1 car at drive thru and no customers in the restaurant) and yet 3 skip the dishes drivers confirmed they usually have to wait 20+ minutes for orders that were placed 30 minutes earlier. Several health code violations, horrible customer service, the manager should be fired! After speaking with another manager at another store, I heard this is fairly normal for that location. Several friends have informed me that if your not brown skinned, she treats you like garbage and from my experience it appears to be true. She also claimed that she prepares all the orders perfectly and that skip drivers must be eating all the missing food and drinking all the missing drinks. I've lived in Long Branch pretty much my whole life, always visited this Wendy's, & over the last 15 year's, has delivered beyond exceptional service. I remember as a kid when my Dad took us to get food here we'd place our order in the Drive-Thru, & no joke we pull up to pay & all our food was made, & it was fresh!

I want to thank all the hard working staff there, & specifically the new store manager Jai for being an outstanding manager, but also providing 5 star top notch "quality" service. He makes every visit feel warm & welcoming, & always makes sure he gets the kitchen to cook me the freshest food every time. In all honesty if head office see's this, he deserves to be regional manager, or get a raise for the unfailing hard work he does, & how good he treats his employees. Thanks again Jai for everything!

Also whoever added the Coke Freestyle machine at this location, it's much appreciated. Just make sure to always check that the flavours are always stocked (ESPECIALLY Mellow Yellow Lime, & Mellow Yellow Citrus Twist, because like myself, i'm sure there are tons of people who are weekly regulars who come to this location specifically for this...

STOP HIRING INDIANS. GIVE JOBS TO OUR YOUTH AND PEOPLE IN NEED. Let me explain myself. Employees at this location yell across the whole store talking to each other in Hindi. They absolutely do not care about the store’s reputation and the customers. Now onto the food, the first Dave’s single that I ordered came out with raw patty and a soggy bun. Upon showing it to one of the workers, he replied that the buns were greasy for some reason when he unpackaged them, nonetheless, he decided to serve them to customers. The replacement burger was missing a tomato and overall just looked awful. I eat at Wendy’s pretty regularly (a few times a week) and can say that this location is so far the worst - survive wise and food wise.

Even though the cashier wasn’t as friendly, the food was great, the atmosphere is a lot better than before (no staff screaming across the restaurant).
