Terrible. Terrible service. My parents came from coburg to have a lunch with me and Wylies happens to be accross the street from my office building. We ordered 3 items off the lunch menu and 3 beverages. We ordered our food and sat for 45 minutes without a single waitress noticing that we have been sitting there without food. Many that came in well after us were being served and in a timely fashion. When we asked where our food was the waitress disappeared to the back only to tell us it will be another 5-10 minutes. We had been there for an hour at this point. We all were on a time schedule just as everyone else typically is at the lunch hour. When we decided to leave and say forget it, this is ridiculous, the waitress had the audacity to ask us to at least pay for our drinks. Pay for our juice that we sipped on for an hour and didn't even finish while waiting for our food... Unfortunately my parents are far too nice and ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE DRINKS. This was ridiculous and by far the worst service I ever experienced. To get attitude from said waitress to pay for our drinka when it was absolutely obvious they had forgetten to put our order in. Never ever give attitude to your customers, especially when you are in the wrong. I have worked retail and the service industry and Wileys failed to provide any sort of good customer service.

This is not my first time going there and having to wait an extended period of time for food, this was the first it was obvious they completely forgetten our table.

To think you a waitress would notice 3 people sitting at a table, sipping juice with no food... There is a firkin up the road, I highly recommend anyone thinking of trying wylies to go there. Food is better and service...

For those in the Sumerhill area who want to eat something quick and have a beer or a drink, the Pub is an option.

The place is small, with an upper area with tables and chairs and a bar area, along with the restrooms for customers, and a pool table area on the lower level.

The menu doesn't have a wide variety of dishes and the prices are reasonable.

The service is great, always very polite and attentive.

For those who like Poutine, the order always comes out very well served and tasty.

However, on my last visits, I was dissatisfied with the drinks: both the beers ordered tasted sour, and the mimosa had no taste at all, just of aged orange.

The place is always clean and organized, and now in the spring and summer, they have two tables on the sidewalk, so it's possible to visit with your pet (dog).

For visitors with physical disabilities, the place does not have adapted bathrooms, doors that open and close automatically, or menus in Braille.

I hope that the bar will be better on future visits, because the last few times it...

So I used to love this bar. Considered it my “neighbourhood bar” and was so excited to live close to a great spot with 2$ Jameson. I had a table there, boyfriend joined soon after. We were all drinking Jameson, he told our server (who had a black eye, might I add..) that he would have a “Rye & Ginger AS WELL”. The night goes on, my boyfriend gets his bill, and was charged the MOST expensive rye that Wylie’s offered. His bill was over 100$ while ours were around 25$ each.... we complained to the server and he blamed my boyfriend. I’ve been a server, and this is just wrong. I’ve never returned, neither will my boyfriend or any of our friends. I share this negative experience with you readers today, and with anyone who ever brings this spot up to me. This happened months ago and it still upsets us to be so obviously blindsided. We...

This place really surprised me. I was expecting typical pub food like burgers and fries. But, they had a wide variety of dishes on their menu including Indian, Thai, Mexican and Chinese dishes. I ordered Thai food and a couple of my friends ordered Mexican and Chinese dishes. We were all impressed with the portion, the taste and the value. Everything was reasonably priced and the folks were super friendly and casual. I can see why people in Rosedale hang out here.

***Update*** Although the Asian food is very good, I'm ordered a Greek Salad and almost broke my tooth because of small and hard pieces in the salad. (at least I hope I didn't break it). Taken off another star. ----------------------- Good service, nice place and the Cajun Chicken Sandwich was tasty and the fries were ok.
