Early March this year, I learned about a webinar offered through the Career Foundation to support immigrants in finding meaningful jobs related to their background education or work experience. I gave it a try and after learning about different programs I decided to take their Network Cabling Technician program offered at Herzing College. I was looking for a change, something to give me a new direction in life and more purpose as a professional. While making my decision, I spoke to Kamar, the Program Coordinator several times to ensure I was doing the right thing. She was amazing and took her time to speak with me, explained all the processes, and helped me with the requirements to attend the program. Then I heard from Sandra to ensure I would get the right support to get employed, and Sahra to provide help in creating the right resume. The experience has changed my life. The program was great and I was lucky to have some incredible classmates, some of whom are my friends now. I got the support I needed to make the change I was looking for. Kamar encouraged me and was there for all the questions I had. Sahra supported me with my resume, and Sandra was there to help make sure I would get employed. In addition, I must say that they have support for mental health. Looking to improve my quality of life and well-being, I met Elaine, who is perfect for the job and connected me with extra support. This is the second time The Career Foundation has kindly assisted me to find a new job. Almost 3 years ago I had the pleasure to meet Bella D. one of the Employment Specialists who, with her valuable advice and knowledge directed me to find a very suitable job opportunity. Unfortunately due to the COVID19 situation I was laid off and finding myself again in the middle of searching for a new job, at this time in a more challenging scenario as per thousands of people are navigating in the same difficult situation. I immediately contacted Patricia L. who also was very kind and attentive to re open my file and book an appointment as soon as was possible. Warning for Canadian This office is fake like any others They using our tax money to give it To refugees and students And we are Canadian starving Here’s I will publish my story with them On this post this following week And I will show you how they fooled me Be in touch It’s all started in feb 2024 to apply in behalf of better career program funding from government Ontario 28000 schooler ship and met Leonard only once he didn’t provide me any help over 100 pages and I have to fill up the form and many attached Certificates even criminal records and drivers records etc After 2 months visiting 3 different colleges with offers in full detail Finished in May finally signed applications And told it’s take time for Ministry for approval and I sent email in October to follow up with my application he didn’t Answer and I got this message as photos And I will follow up with ministry how it’s happening and if it legal to hold my application for 5 months to deny my request I tried to contact ministry of labor to report my claim but till now no answer and maybe they will not So I will wait one more week And I will go to court or general Attorney Office Because it’s my right to know what happened to my application and why they Hold it 5 months without notification Thanks and...
