COBS Bread — Restaurant in Town of Cochrane

So, things are difficult, everyone may be a little edgy, and employees can have a bad day. And perhaps this was the case at Cobb's bakery in Cochrane at about 11:15 today where I had an uncomfortable experience. Some of the cinnamon buns have more icing than others, and I asked politely if I could have the one displayed at the front of the case as it had more icing. The employee serving me seemed put off by this request, and took the whole tray out, turned around and briefly but briskly set it down on the bread rack, then still holding the tray turned back around and almost slammed it down on the counter. She then picked up the bun and put it in a box and didn't even close the box. Just to clarify the bakery was not busy at the time and there were two employees serving the only two customers in the bakery at that time. We always loved going to Cobbs to pick up our fresh loaf on Sunday morning. However one morning we noticed strands of hair throughout the loaf, we were absolutely disgusted. We sent numerous photos and finally the manager got back to us and said just bring the loaf back and we will refund you. Nothing else was done and the customer experience was awful. We have not been back since and do not recommend Cobbs bakery (Cochrane) to anyone. Save yourself the grosness and trouble and just drive to a Calgary location where the experience and product will be...

We were in the area passing though to hit up the Walmart on our drive to Banff and saw so many people going in here and leaving with boxes and bags of goodies so we had to stop in. We got a little sampling of goodies and brought them up to the lodge with us, didn't keep them in anything but the box they came in and they stayed delicious and fresh for a few days before we finished them off !! Staff was so nice and welcoming to us in the shop too. The lady who helped us out gave us a freebie cuz we couldn't decide on which flavor to try too....
