Edo Japan — Restaurant in Town of Cochrane

I cant contest any other reviews because this was my very firs time at any edo location. I will however update this as i go to other locations if anything that has been stated here is what i have experienced to be true.

We found the food to be good. Quantity to quality for cost needs work. The quantity needs to be more for the price they charge, especially on their meat. Hankki for example is around same cost per dish & you get larger portion size- And these 2 business' are in the same plaza.

The beef noodle dish is far better then the chicken on rice dish. The beef has much more flavour then the chicken.

Im not sure how authentic the food is too actual Japanese food, i did think it was odd that strictly indian/SriLankan employees is all i seen- not racist. I just thought id see individuals of Japanese decent working here....😶. They were all kind including...

I’ve been to Edo Japan many times before without any problems, but these last FOUR visits have been a nightmare. Every single time, I’ve ended up sick—stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and running to the bathroom nonstop. Tonight, my boyfriend and I both ate there as we decided to give them one last chance. And now he’s extremely ill too. That’s two people down from one meal. And no, I don’t have a weak stomach. I can eat just about anything without issue, so this is not normal. It feels like their food just isn’t fresh, which is scary considering they’re serving fish and meals that are supposed to be safe. This isn’t just bad food, it’s dangerous. Edo Japan needs to seriously check their food quality and safety. Has anyone else experienced this? Because at this point I want to know if it’s just us, or if other people are...

I asked for a double order of meat, and the serving size was ridiculously small for 20$. I like Edo, and this location serves small portion sizes. I brought this up with staff as i'm familiar with Edo portion sizes, and they did nothing. I ended up getting a burger afterward. In addition, the amount of salt in the food was extremely overdone compared to other Edo locations, and the edamame beans had black all over them.... weird. I will never go back to this location.
