Greco Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Kensington

Ordered a Donair pizza along with several other items. Asked for tomatoes to only be on one half of the pizza. Drove to pick it up. Arrived back home to find out it was made with pizza sauce instead of donair, the one half had no meat and the tomatoes were across the whole pizza. Awful! So I call ask them to redo the donair pizza the right way. I drive back to the store and they haven’t even started the pizza. They weren’t going to offer any compensation for their mistake. I said what are you going to do for me? I paid triple the gas, my time is wasted, and the rest of the food I ordered is getting cold at home. After 45 minutes they finally had my donair pizza ready the right way. They offered me a few pop for my troubles, which I didn’t accept. I get home and seriously from the attitude they gave me I couldn’t stomach the idea of eating the pizza that they most likely did something to. I won’t be going back to that Greco again. The workers don’t know what customer services is. The manager I spoke with over the phone didn’t even apologize it’s quite obvious who trained the employees.

Side note: there is one young guy that works there that is absolutely 100% a great worker. I’ve told him and left him a very good review in the past. His shift was over before I returned...

Well Google, since you asked.

I've had a lot of great donairs in my day, I even consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur. Greco makes some of the best and most consistent donairs with a great meat to pita balance, in my opinion.

Kensington Greco let me down last night.

I explicitly asked for:

Well done meat Sauce mixed in well with the meat tomotoes and onions, but more tomoatoes than onions.

The attendant said yes sir, with a smile. Before telling me I was very tall and looked like a cop before handing me the debit machine asking for a tip. Well timed compliment Mr. Greco attendant, well timed. $.50 cents for you.

I was disappointed to get home to find that none of the instructions were followed.

There were no tomatoes or onions on the donair at all.

60% of the sauce was front loaded and on top, and could have been consumed in the first bite, had I not redistributed it evenly myself, making a sticky finger mess in the process.

As much as I love donair sauce, it needs to be distributed evenly otherwise it is overpowering.

All that aside, it was a good tasting donair. I can still taste it this morning.

The donairs were great. I asked for the chicken wings to be put through twice and lots of sauce put right on them. They were not put through twice and never put sauce on them. When I picked up our order and seen no sauce on wings I asked him to put sauce on them and asked for lots of sauce he didn't want to at first but then he said ok but it'll be 5 minutes. So once sauce was on there was hardly any sauce, some wings didn't have any so I had to go back in and ask for more sauce.
