The Willow Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Kensington

This was my first time being in PEI and the hospitality of people is amazing. Went to The Willow Bakery & Cafe , the smell of freshly baked goodies filled the air when you walk in. The display of scones, brownies, cinnamon rolls and other treats are well lit and labeled. They have a tray that has day olds which are still very good to eat.

Love the way the staff is so friendly and greet you as you walk in.

There are places inside to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee with your treat.

They have a variety of goodies, drinks and I believe gifts on display.

It is situated in the old train station which gives the cafe a lot of charm and character.

Will definitely make my way back to the cafe on my next...

I just wanted to thank all of the staff that helped us with our lunch experience yesterday. I am so glad we contacted you to help arrange a small reception after my family member’s funeral. Your professionalism, excellent service, team work and amazing food impressed me and my companions.

From my first inquiry, everyone out of their way to arrange an excellent lunch. Not only did we enjoy the atmosphere, sandwiches and delicious baked goods, we even found some art work to take home.

We love a good bakery, so we popped in here while waiting for our lunches at the restaurant next door to check this place out. We tried scones and cookies and loved everything! We loved it so much that we made another trip back out to Kensington the next day to get more scones before our trip back home. While we were incredibly disappointed in the nosedive that Mary’s has taken under its new ownership, we are really happy to have come across this place so we can continue our tradition of coming to visit Kensington on future trips for delicious baked goods.
