Im not from the area, but was in over the weekend as i vacationed near there. After ordering, 2 employees proceeded to speak infront me and other staff in their mative tongue. Now i have nothing wrong with it in the right place, but felt as if they were speaking about me, other staff were rolling their eyes annoyed with them in another language pther than french or english as they too had no idea what was said. I find this behavior disrespectful and rude in the work place. I didn't want to write a review but after friends said it is a normal accurance there, I felt a review needs to be made. In Canada the language is French and English, please have respect for our country and Canadians by not being so ignorant working in an English speaking environment. I will not enter this location again now due to poor behavior of staff. To the workers there who are also disrespected by this behavior i feel for yoy and you to should report every time they choose to be the rude in the workplace. I am at a point of boycotting all tim hortons all together and more should be doing this until the company puts proper discipline and protocols in place for this type...
Read moreIf I could give this place negative stars, I would. Walking into the Kensington Tim Hortons felt like stepping into a caffeine-scented purgatory. The air was thick with despair and burnt coffee grounds. The staff looked like they’d been trapped in a time loop of drive-thru chaos and passive-aggressive order screens. One employee literally abandoned our order mid-sentence to take drive-thru requests, leaving us standing there like confused extras in a low-budget horror film.
The food? A culinary crime scene. My breakfast sandwich was either undercooked or incinerated—hard to tell through the soggy wrapper and the taste of regret. My boyfriend’s order was botched so badly it felt personal. When I asked for help, the response was a deadpan “and?” as if I’d just interrupted a sacred ritual.
The vibe? Hostile. Staff bickered openly in front of customers like it was a reality show gone wrong. I’ve seen more warmth in a freezer aisle. If you’re looking for a place that makes you question your life choices before 9 a.m., congratulations—you’ve found it.
Avoid this location like it’s cursed. There are better places to get coffee. Like a gas station....
Read moreKensington Tim Hortons is the WORST tims on PEI by far. We went inside to order and they took my boyfriends order first and didn't know how to remove the bun option.. so the person taking our order proceeded to abandon us and take a bunch of drive through orders before coming back to finish his order. Then, didn't even take my order until I prompted another worker that I never had my order taken and she looked at me and just said "and?" ... very disrespectful towards customers and then when my boyfriend got his order it still had a bun in and he is SEVERELY allergic. We told them he can't eat it because he's allergic and they proceeded to reach into the bag and just remove the bun and hand it back. It's a good thing we were paying attention, we had to ask a third time for no bun and thankfully at least one person there understood what allergic means and told them it all has to be changed. I will never be going back...
