My family and I have just moved to Canada from England and were driving through Sylvan Lake when we happened upon the Cove. We were greeted with a friendly smile and were offered our selection of seating, we chose a booth. We sat down and menus quickly appeared and we made our selection. I chose the Cove Special burger which was a beast, my wife chose the Pesto Chicken Tagliatelli and my daughter chose a kids cheese burger. All food was larger than expected and certainly represented value for money, the kids burger was the best one my daughter has had. The pulled pork on the Cove Special tasted great as did the Italian Loaded Fries (Poutine if your Canadian) The restaurant was quiet which suited us just fine but did have a steady flow of customers. Oilers game on was a bonus. Overall, we were pleased with our visit, food selections and our experience. See you soon.

Had a very enjoyable time here! We tried the butter chicken (far right), beef korma (middle), saffron rice, and garlic naan bread. The meat was tender enough that you could cut it with a fork, no knife needed. The sauces were very flavorful and rich with spices, not to spicy. The rice was nice and complimented the other dishes nicely. The naan bread was tasty and had a garlic flavor that was not over powering. Definitely plan on going back and looking forward to trying different items from the menu!

Had a really great experience at The Cove Restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly without being overbearing. I ordered the creamy chicken tagliatelle with shrimp and it was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented—definitely a highlight. The portions were generous, prices were fair, and the place felt clean and well-kept. Great spot for a casual dinner or even a small celebration. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Order the seafood boil wasn't actually a seafood boil we thought it was actually corn on the cob it comes with but it's actually canned baby corn but then when we looked back it didn't say corn on the cob so technically that was our fault but a typical seafood boil is corn on the cob pieces I ordered half muscles and half shrimp they were out of tiger prawns and she had just told us that two people got up and left because they were out of tiger prawns it took an hour for our food to get there we got there at 6:00 and the food came at 7 roughly we were also with a toddler and the toddlers chicken fingers and fries we're cold we're not expecting them to be hot because it's a toddler but at least warm the fries did taste good. The shrimp were pretty small but they also weren't tiger prawns and the muscles were extremely small like when I mean small they were puny like the size of a dime maybe just a tad bit bigger the meat in the muscles I was extremely disappointed by this considering the prices are pretty expensive even for half I ordered the garlic butter sauce which was actually quite stinking good I will give props to that and also I ordered a side of fettuccine noodles because it definitely was not enough otherwise the potatoes that came with the meal we're very very good all around the flavor of the meal was very good the quality of the protein and size was 100% not there for the prices that they charge I'm expecting quite good quality considering there's quite a lot of competition around the service was completely terrible the waitress was extremely nice though and I guess when I say the services terrible it's the weight because we didn't get out of there until after 8:00 p.m. when she came with our bill she messed up the bill she came back with the bill it was messed up again he came back a third time I pointed out does she only charge me for a quarter muscles rather than a half of course I'm going to pay my fair share despite the muscles being terrible but she did say that we were only charged for the quarter muscles and that they also did not charge us for the fettuccine noodles so that was nice I did give a 15% tip the waitress was very nice but they definitely are going to need some help getting food out and I think that the quality and quantity is to be up there with those prices because people are going to be very disappointed come this summer and they've already closed that restaurant down under their previous name so if they're going to be continuing to serve food like this they will close again at least that's what...

I had a very strange dinner here the other day. It started with us walking into the entrance where there was an older couple talking to a younger man. There was nobody in the restaurant and a "please wait to be seated" sign.... but nobody working there. We stood there awkwardly for a moment before the younger man said hello to us (normally you would at least be greeted when you walk into a restaurant but until he came over we didnt even think he worked there. Didn't acknowledge us at all) then he told us to go sit at one of two booths at the end... which were both dirty so we chose a different table. At this point we were the only people in the restaurant and it was completely silent. No music, no tv, no radio, nothing. Very awkward. Started looking through the menu and I honestly wanted to leave because I had such an awful first impression, and then the lady came out. I wish I had gotten her name because she is the only reason we gave the place a chance. She was friendly, she got the music going, made recommendations about the menu, and overall just had a wonderful character. She was the only part of the whole experience that was welcoming. The food was actually pretty good! Very large portions despite not having very clear descriptions in the menu of what...
