Dear Management,
I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a distressing incident that occurred at your Langley location on February 9th at approximately 6:15 PM. During my visit, I was alarmed to witness the staff members handling food without wearing gloves, specifically while preparing the tacos. I promptly approached the manager on duty to address this violation of food safety protocols, but regrettably, my concerns were met with dismissiveness and even laughter.
As a customer, I am deeply concerned about the lack of adherence to food safety regulations at your establishment. The Food Safety Act of British Columbia clearly outlines the importance of maintaining proper hygiene practices, including the mandatory use of gloves when handling food. This incident has not only compromised the health and safety of customers but also raises doubts about the overall commitment of your restaurant to maintaining high standards of food safety.
I kindly request that you conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and take immediate corrective actions to prevent such violations from reoccurring. It is crucial that all staff members receive comprehensive training on food safety practices and understand the significance of following these protocols diligently.
Furthermore, I would appreciate regular updates on the measures taken to rectify this situation and ensure the utmost compliance with food safety regulations. As a customer, I believe in the importance of transparency and accountability in maintaining a safe dining environment.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I trust that you will address this issue seriously and take the necessary steps to prevent any future breaches of food safety...
Read moreHave been to this KFC location for a number of times and I was not going to be critical on the review after my first few experiences. However, when each time I was looking for fair expectation of KFC food quality and services at this location, I ended my visit with disappointment.
The staff are fairly friendly but their services need a major improvement; the manager or owner will have to carefully look after quite a few things to keep their business in good shape. For instance, the quality of the chicken is very inconsistent in size and cooking. Some pieces of drumsticks seemed like they were the mid wing size and the finishing was many times too brown or too white (overcooked and under-cooked). A restaurant also needs to keep up with their supplies; for enough times I went there and they are out of crispy chicken while the regular chicken I received were in bad shape; and many times, it was only around 5 pm in the afternoon. But guess what, either the supply ran out or some staffs are just unwilling to cook more chicken. They simply tell you that they don't have crispy chicken even after many customers clearly expressed that they are willing to wait for them to cook a new batch. Very disappointing! Sometimes, the line up can be for over 15 to 20 min. Now over months of period, the rating of this location has dropped from a mid 3 stars to a mid 2 stars; what is this result of general public's opinion saying? As much as people who still would like to support KFC, some stores really need to improve their quality and services,...
Read moreMy recent visit to KFC in Canada, now serving Halal food, left me with mixed feelings. As someone familiar with KFC outlets in the Middle East and Far East, I was expecting a similar level of quality and service, especially since they’ve just started offering Halal options. However, my experience was somewhat underwhelming.
The first thing I noticed upon entering was that the restaurant didn’t have the polished look and feel I had come to associate with KFC in other regions. The floor was noticeably dirty, giving the place a neglected vibe. This was disappointing, considering KFC’s reputation as a global fast-food chain that generally maintains higher standards of cleanliness and customer experience.
As for the food, it was a far cry from the fresh, crispy chicken I had been accustomed to. The chicken seemed old and reheated, lacking the juicy tenderness that KFC is known for. Instead of the signature crunch and warmth, the pieces felt like they had been sitting out for a while, which significantly affected the taste. For a place that had just introduced Halal food, I had expected much more in terms of quality.
Overall, my first visit didn’t meet the expectations I had based on my previous experiences with KFC. I hope they address these issues in the future, as the introduction of Halal options is a big draw for many customers. With some improvements in food quality and cleanliness, this outlet could reach the same standard as its international...
