Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Township of Langley

This location refuses to answer the phone. Instead they just let it ring until the call center takes the call. Which is fine when you are ordering but when there is an issue with your order and the call center cannot help you even they have no way of contacting the restaurant. We have had multiple problems with orders over the years and everytime the only thing you can do is drive up to the restaurant because they won't answer the phone and for its not just around the corner. The final straw was this last halloween when arranged to have pizza delivered 30 minutes before the kids were to go out trick-or-treating and 2 of our pizzas were missing both happened to be the only type the kids will eat. We had pre-paid online and my son received the pizzas while we were busy and he didnt know how many we ordered. Once we discovered the mistake the restaurant wouldn't answer the phone and the call center suggested we just keep trying to call again and again and hopefully they would answer the phone. Finally we gave up and my wife had to drive to the restaurant and then wait another 20 more minutes while they remade the pizzas because they didn't have them. The kids were gone before she got back with the pizzas and didnt get any dinner. Did they even offer to refund the delivery fee nope just gave my wife a free pop and didn't care. Never again. The location by our old house we never had 1 problem in over 7 years of ordering from them. This location we have had on average 2 issues a year. Including orders being more than an hour late, receiving someone else's order, wrong pizza's, missing items. It's too bad because Pizza Hut is our kids favorite but we won't order from this...

(See update below) I love Pizza Hut so when I moved to Walnut grove I was happy there was one close by. Oh boy. The sloppiest made pizzas. Very stingy on toppings (1/4 of the slices won’t have meat) and toppings are just mounded in random locations. On occasion, there would be slices with only cheese and sauce! If they just took 30 extra seconds and actually care that they are serving food or preparing a meal for someone it would make a huge difference. Quality inspires confidence my boss used to say and their pizzas inspire no confidence in anything (cleanliness? Freshness? What else do they skimp on?)

I am updating my review as the quality has improved over the past few months. An additional 2 stars. I vowed I would never order from them again but after giving them some time, I tried them again and saw some improvement. I will update my review again if they continue their improvement.

I don't know what is going on with this Pizza Hut location but it has gone down hill. I have ordered from this locations for years, recently the quality has been very poor. About a month ago I ordered my usual order. Well when my husband picked it up, they only made one pizza. We had ordered 2. He had to wait for them to make the second one. When he arrived home, the pizza was wrong. I called and was told there would be a credit for the pizza. A week later I decided to pick up my free pizza. Only to be told that it wasn't a free pizza, it was a $10 credit. Not what the guy on the phone said but whatever. I start to order, just to be told I can't have homestyle crust because it is too early. I left at that point. So today we decided to give them another chance.
