I usually come here every night with my regular order—literally every day, ordering the same thing. There’s a girl who is usually working nights, and I always ask her to brew a fresh pot of steeped tea for me. She said okay, but when I tried it, it was stale.
I told them it wasn’t fresh. They had two pots, and the one on top was nearly empty, meaning it was brewed a while ago. They claimed they gave me tea from the bottom pot, which was brewed 10 minutes ago. I worked at Tim Hortons for three years, so I know how things are done. I then asked, “If you brewed this 10 minutes ago, why haven’t you thrown out the old one?” I also asked them to show me the brewing time (which is always written on the pot), and she said, “We don’t write times on the pots at night.”
Wow. So how are you supposed to know if it’s expired? Not writing times is a serious issue, especially during inspections. This means you’re serving expired coffee and don’t even know when it was brewed. Even after I asked her politely to brew a fresh pot, she took my coffee and said, “I’m not going to brew a fresh pot. You can go.”
Seriously? This is exactly why people complain about Tim Hortons’ terrible service. I am always polite, and I’ve been coming to this location for two years. There’s a turbaned guy who sometimes works the night shift—he’s really nice and always gives me what I ask for. But this was the worst service I’ve ever received.
Even the car in front of me was yelling at them for taking 6–7 minutes to make a single coffee. The woman was so angry that she got out of her car and started smashing the window. Clearly, I wasn’t the only frustrated customer.
I strongly request that you look into this and train your employees to treat paying customers with respect. If they don’t want to work or are in a bad mood for personal reasons, they shouldn’t take it out on customers. We’re paying for our food, not getting it for free. I have seen the manager 2 3 times in person when i used to dinein in summers i really want him to look into this. This happened on feb 4. 10:50pm. There was this girl she said her name was Harpreet and the other girl was the onw who said this. They even said that they cannot brew more than 2 pots but one of then was brewed 10 15 mins ago and that means the other one was expired. This is a violation of food court rules. This is...
Read moreReview: November 2023 This coffee shop is filthy dirty and tables are always covered in spilled food and drinks, chairs and floors are covered in garbage and not cleaned in days. Separate bathrooms are closed, 1 family bathroom is being used by men and woman. This bathroom was sooo disgustingly dirty with urine running down the toilet bowl and on the floor. Seat was up and covered with dried urine. A line in the toilet bowl of filth. Floor was covered in used paper towels and wet urine mixed in dirt. AND THIS WAS THE FAMILY BATHROOM WHERE PARENTS WERE EXPECTED TO TAKE THEIR CHILD!! I was disgusted and told all the workers. I made her open the womens bathroom and was just flabbergasted at the stale urine smell and filthy condition of this bathroom as well. This location opens the door upon request to bathrooms, they see the unsanitary conditions, yet they don't clean them or care that its a health risk. The health board needs to be called in to do a thorough walk through of this establishment. People and children could become sick from the unhealthy, unsanitary conditions. I do not recommend this location. Stay away!
Review: 2022 Drive through window continues to give hot coffee without sleeves, even when they can't hold the hot cup in their own hand to hand it out the window. Most times no napkins are put in the bags. For 6 months the brown bags have had no Tim Hortons logo. Inside the establishment the tables are not clean and customers are having to ask employees to come out and clean them. The customers are having to wait an excessive amount of time to receive their orders as the drive through window takes priority, management needs to realize the inside customers are just as important. Unfortunately this is not a realization. The food is hot and donuts are always fresh. The coffee 8/10 is hot. Staff is still friendly but need to smile when greeting customers. I still recommend this location, just remember the drive through is very fast compared to recieving your order inside, even when the inside is not busy.
First Review: Clean, warm and cozy, coffee hot and donuts always fresh. Tables and floor clean. Bathrooms 8/10. Staff quiet, need to smile and greet customers better. More of a crowd in their 40's and up,...
Read moreMay 26th at 3:15 pm. You'll excuse me if I rattle on a bit. But, I've never left a bad review for anyone in my entire life, until now. We stopped in for coffee and a snack. A young woman, obviously new and being trained, served me. As she was completing my order, this other woman came over and said something, in a rude manner, to her and told her to leave. She then deleted everything the new girl had put on the register and I had to start over. Our order consisted of hot chocolate, coffee, a muffin and a cheese biscuit. When I tried to cut into the biscuit, it was hard like a rock even though I'd asked for it to be warmed up. As I finally cut into it, it literally fell into crumbs. It was so dried out. I took it back to the same woman, who took over my order, at the counter who seemed to be in charge. I explained the situation to her and she just stared at me for a few seconds and finally said you can throw it out, as I tried to hand it to her. I told her "no, she could throw it out", as I found her tone very rude. She then reached down and got another cheese biscuit, which she warmed up and gave to me. This one wasn't too much better, but with 2 patties of butter, it wasn't too bad. When we were finished our snack, I asked if I could use the washroom and was let in. The lady's washroom was absolutely filthy. I had to take some toilet paper and actually wipe the seat and toilet down before using it. GROSS! Your staff needs some updated training in customer service! You say you serve fresh coffee - the same should be for your food products. Please don't respond to this review with your usual response. That really means absolutely nothing. Everyone gets the same response! In my opinion, this Tim Hortons is a disgrace...
