Pretty sure these people will get you sick if you have any complaint in the right capacity, I ate here and get normally the exact same thing 2 double jbc's this time I was trying to use a discount code from my phone and they said they wouldn't let me use it so I asked why and they wouldn't give me a real reason of fact but rather a worried scavenger losing out on profits, all because I wanted a discount on my tight budget, the place I used to always choose now has become a hazard to me all because of this place and its current staff, as I tried to understand why I cant use a code my account generated on their own wendys app that was frustrating for both sides it then felt racist towards me as they started to huddle up in front of me thinking something negative would happen but I was just frustrated with the systems workings, being treated unfairly as I was the only white canadian as they were making me feel like the minority in the building besides a coworker who walked out shortly after ordering after me this pressure wasnt necessary or welcomed, the current responsible manager after arguing or insinuating I cant use my discount for w.e reason they had finally just offered my 2 burger for "free" which then lead me to decline regretting the whole argument none of us deserved.i said I'll still pay but all I wanted was a discount because im tight on funds, the regret seemed to go both ways, it had seemed malicious the way she had offer the food for free way after the fact as it was being made in the process, because later that day after only have eating those 2 burgers I felt the worst food poisoning I've been through to date thus I cant find any explanation as to why but that maybe they had done something to contaminate my meal, the next day after being sick all day my wife got the same type of sickness leading her to feeling horribly unwell. I worked in Langley, not far away from Wendy's, for 15 years prior to that and would often drive over to have lunch. Since Covid-19 hit, something has changed drastically. A lot of the staff have become very snappy and forget that their jobs depend on the customers. I have noticed recently they usually grab the money from your hand with a snap when paying, turn away from the customer giving the order, and generally show a lack of desire to be there, never mind doing the job. Today, Saturday July 3, 2021, at about 5:30PM, we went to the drive-thru and ordered our meal. The girl that took the order must have been listening to someone else, as she couldn't get the order right and dismissed us to go to the window. At the window she said 2 burgers, and we said yes, could we please add medium iced tea and she didn't understand and started yelling at us. My husband has a very soft voice, and she just yelled more and walked away. We're we supposed to leave ? We drove 20 miles to get our favorite burgers, fries and iced tea.Another young lady apologized for her and gave us our order. That was the last straw! Favorite burger or not, I'm afraid our days of visiting that Wendy's are over. We have been in this world too long to accept that kind of disrespectful behavior from some little inexperienced little girl. "I'm so impressed with the Wendy's location I visited recently! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile by the staff. The restaurant was clean and modern, with a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. But the real star of the show was the food - oh, the food! I ordered the Baconator, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The beef was cooked to perfection, the bacon was crispy and smoky, and the cheese was melted to a golden brown. And the fries? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, just the way I like them.
What really stood out to me, though, was the attention to detail.
