I’ve been coming here for a few years now . I always felt treated with respect . Unfortunately they have new cooks now . The last 2 times the food was not that pleasant . I gave them feedback because they asked , and they said they’re happy for feedback and will tell the cooks . Usually the sushi tastes good here , The last 2 times with the new cooks it tasted old and not fresh . The salmon sashimi pieces were cut smaller . The prawns tasted very fishy ( like not fresh ) . Yesterday I tried the chicken skewers, I only ate one and saw that they were not cooked all the way ( pink inside ) see picture . I still give 3 stars because it was pleasant and affordable sushi with good taste . The lady ( I guess the owner ) was always nice to me . I’m not coming back for now because of the undercooked and not fresh food. Maybe they also have a new fish provider , it’s definitely not the same taste as before . I got a refund for the skewer . The cook looked at me weird when I left . I hope I don’t get food poisoning The old cooks would always nod and say “ thank you “

i am quite curious as to why you say that the salmon pressed sushi is a 2 for 1 deal on uber eats and essentially charge the price of two salmon pressed sushi when compared to your in store menu. now i know that you get charged by uber which is 30% so that would just be $4.80 so at max that should be the only addition that you are charging, because in all honesty it is not a 2 for 1 deal. like without the "deal" two rolls would cost over $50 which is a joke. dont promote some deal when in reality no deal exists. you charge $1 extra on uber eats for a yam roll when compared to your website menu. i have also tried the pressed sushi you have and it is in no way worth the amount you are charging. also not really a good business practice to promote a deal when you are looking to scam people. enjoy these photos to support what i am saying.

I would say the sushi here is OK and unfortunately not top tier as it tasted fairly soft, mushy and there was no distinct flavor or fresh tasting vibe. The agedashi tofu and Veggie Gyozas were also pretty bland including the sauces. Even the tea tasted so weak it gives me the vibe this sushi joint is cutting corners or isn't offering at least fresh menu items. Apart from that, a nice joint with lovely super friendly and approachable staff. The sushi boat dish for the guoza is super rad and would be nice to have authentic serving trays for the other dishes. I hate to give an uncomplimenting review but is all true, sorry but the price wasn't the most value for money and therefore justified.

I hate having to be here with a 1 star rating considering their food is good. But being a local working and living in the area, I have come to this place time and time again—and time and time again I was met with poor attitude. They should change the time they close to 9:30 because anyone coming in after that will be made feel uncomfortable for ordering off their menu even with 30 or 20 minutes remaining on their posted Open schedule with the giant flashing sign still saying OPeN. I’m not here to drop a sob story’s but my week has been absolutely horrendous and my appetite was finally coming back to me only to get given attitude and told “no sorry” you can’t order even though there’s 20 minutes left before close.

I’ve worked in the food industry before. I know that I’ve worked for bosses who care about keeping their guests happy and making them feel welcome to the last minute they offer service. Clearly, some people in this store feel otherwise and would rather sigh and scream with body language and facial expressions of their displeasure to have to re-clean something they started cleaning early.

It’s fine, the people up the hill are better anyways and they’re always super happy to see anyone come into their little shop. I’ll be taking my money there from now on even if it’s blocks away instead of steps away from...

After the second incident with this place I'm voting with my dollar and not going there by any circumstances. First, few weeks ago I was charged twice for the sushi, because of the mistake of the personnel. When I came back the next day with the bank statement asking for a refund, first, I was refused, then I was asked to give private financial information, then they refuse to give money back on the same card I've paid with and gave back cash. My mistake was to count money outside of the place. Needless to say, there were less than supposed to be. Few weeks later decided to give this place another chance. They mixed up my order, said it was actually what I've ordered and when I showed them image from their own online menu, the cook, who was also standing behind the till along with the waitress, started yelling at me. I've never seen service like that. Now I understand why I was the only customer there in a busy hour. Quality of food is 3/5 if you don't mind to experience the...
