The moment i walked in the door, nothing..not a soul..for awhile. Then a man came out and said what do you want, i said i am looking to get my fixture rewired. He then looked at it, and was quite rough with it, i might add! Then he said it would cost about 200 to fix it, to which i said, that much,..why? He said its hard to get the parts, so i agreed to let him fix it. I waited about 3 weeks to get my fixture back, and when i did, it looked terrible! The paint was chipped, the crystals on it are now chipped, and i can see the wire he put on, stands out, and looks awful! I would no recommend this place to anyone. I also found out, later at another place i took the same fixture to be redone, that this is not the first, this had been heard of this store. ( P.S The parts that are hard to get, i was told could be picked up at any lighting supplier, and are not...

I had such an awful experience. I brought in my grandmothers antique lamp over a year ago, and it took months before I got it back. I went back numerous times and either the shop was closed or he hadn't fixed it yet.

Finally, when it was ready, he was so rude, and over charged me by a couple hundred dollars. I was shocked. When I got home- the shade didn't fit (as he installed the wrong light socket), he didn't modernize the socket and he hadn't even updated the wiring! I was so tramatized by the whole ordeal, I sat with an unuseable lamp for a year, before I found a different electrician who fixed it up beautifully and for significantly cheaper.

Needing a specialized Panasonic bulb I searched in vain at all the major outlets and an online search sent me to Lantern. I should have called first since there was no answer at the door at first. Once in, I realized that this store was the opposite of the Big Box stores I had been to. Stacks of boxes pilled randomly and parts for this and that everywhere. Sam(?) recommended an adapter and LED filament lamp as a replacement. The search amid the boxes for the adapter began, first this pile of boxes and then another. He persisted. I almost gave up. Glad I didn't. Both bulb and adapter work better than the original and cheaper. An unusual but positive shopping...
