This was my first time having gluten-free, so I thought maybe it was just not for me; however, before writing this, I made sure to try other gluten-free pastries elsewhere that were delicious, so I don't think that's the case. I'm chalking my experience up to coming in during an off-hour on a non-busy day, so maybe the food wasn't very fresh? Everything was reheated after being kept wrapped up in the counter display case, and there was no telling how long it had been there.

I ordered a mushroom crepe, multiple quiches, a sausage roll, a slice of citrus cake, and a coffee.

I think if I had only had the mushroom crepe and coffee, I would rate this four stars, because these two were very tasty, even if they weren't good value. It's a bit odd, though, when you're at a bakery and the only good menu items you had were the ones that involved no baking.

While everything presented well, the meat pie dough had a tasteless, dry, crumbly texture which overshadowed the good-looking filling, which, unfortunately, wasn't particularly flavourful either. The quiche crusts were pasty and seemed under-cooked (see picture of quiche crust below). The sausage roll was the same story, with the rather pasty crust overshadowing the juices of the cocktail sausage inside. The lemon pie was bland as well.

In any case, I tried enough different menu items during my visit that I likely...

Came by middle of June to pick up a surprise birthday cake I ordered online. When I came into the shop they forgot to make my cake and compensated me with a frozen cake. They claimed the frozen cake would be ready to eat within 1-2 hour and would taste the same as a normal fresh cake as long as we leave it out in room temperature. My family and I didn’t cut the cake 3-4 hours pass and there were still heavy “frozen burns 🥵 “ taste. It was an unfortunate experience.

Additionally I emailed the store, and haven’t heard back from anyone. It’s been over a month. Today I left a message to the front clerk to get the owner to contact me back, hopefully I hear soon.

Overall the staff is nice.. but the experience was very poor. Not sure how their...

We ordered desserts from here for a company event. Unfortunately the event had to get cancelled so we tried calling and emailing for half a day to see if we could have the order either cancelled or at least rescheduled but they simply did not respond. The order was delivered as per the original plan and it was incorrect. We did not even receive all the items we paid for, AND the squares that we did get looked pretty smushed and were very inconsistent. I understand they are hand baked so not perfect, but some of the squares were almost 50% smaller than most of the others. It was a pretty disappointing experience overall. We will not be ordering here again - too bad when so many other bakeries in Vancouver do Gluten...

My wife and I (both Celiacs) had to grab something quick to eat during our last hour in Vancouver...coming here was perfect! Service was prompt, warm, and helpful. I wish we had more time because everything looked great...what we got tasted beyond our expectations, and it was great to share a moment with my wife in their cute warm space. We’d love to come back next time we’re in Vancouver. Thanks to the guy working there who really made us feel welcome and was sensitive to our rush.

Hit the jackpot here. Cute place that caters to the gluten free crowd. I had lemon loaf that had an excellent amount of lemon and the did not break apart (gf eaters know what I mean). Also had a date square which had a hint of fruit besides the dates. They cater to those with certain food sensitivities but the food tastes great regardless. Cute yellow tables out front. If you are in the area it's definitely worth a visit.
