I was casually walking by and decided to visit this cute bakery to check it out and it was such a nice surprise. Their food is delicious and the staff is so friendly. I tried pastries that I’ve never had before from Serbia and they were so good. Make sure to try the cheese pita and the meat Burek. They also have frozen pastries to take home, that I ended up getting for breakfast because is so convenient. I’ll definitely be visiting again :)

Growing up eating pita, I was surprised how authentic it tasted and the sweet lady who makes them was so humble when I complimented her. We will definitely be back! Just a heads up it’s a shop, very limited seating but pita can be eaten on the go very easily.

The service is great, kind people and the food is amazing!! Very diverse staff as well, so someone might speak your language!! Pite/Burek is made with butter instead of just oil so it has that buttery taste. I happily spent around 70$ on my first visit! I will be returning. They offer frozen mini spiral Pite which can be tossed in the oven or air fryer, super convenient! 12 frozen pieces for 24$ is a steal and I’ll be back soon to stock up!

My only complaint is the sweets like baklava and banana bread are kinda pricey and I wish they carried more balkan items such as fresh bread, meat...

I highly recommend Balkan Bakery. My favorite item is the cheese pita, but they also offer other delicious options like mushroom pita, meat pita, and bureks.

The prices are very affordable, making it a great value.
