Big Star Sandwich Broadway — Restaurant in Vancouver

I work on Broadway and was excited to see a new lunch spot pop up. I first stopped by shortly after they opened a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve been going every few days since. So far, I’ve tried their beef and pulled pork sandwiches, and honestly, every single one has been exceptional.

The meats are always flavorful, and the bread is incredible—fresh, soft, and tastes like it was just made. I’ve already recommended this place to at least four coworkers, and they all loved it. The consensus? This place is awesome.

The owner is passionate and welcoming, always checking in to make sure customers are happy. It also seems like some of his family helps out at times, which adds to the friendly atmosphere. Everyone I’ve interacted with at Big Star has been great.

Came here for lunch a few times since the recent opening. Had eaten at the other locations (Richmond and New West) and sandwiches have always been tasty and filling. I believe they roast the meat in house which makes a huge difference from the usual cold cut sandwiches. Couple of stand outs: Beef dip, Tony Montana pulled pork, turkey avocado and roast beef Mack Daddy. Go for the hickory sticks. Tomato soup is hearty and flavorful. So happy to see Big ⭐ Sandwich in Vancouver. The first one I went to same owners was in Richmond. The Restaurant always clean and the owners husband and wife, always so friendly. Now having an option to have an amazing sandwich in Vancouver is great! To pick up something healthy , yummy to eat is awesome. I've tried a few of their sandwiches and haven't been disappointed.
