As loyal and regular customers for over two years, my friend and I have appreciated the convenience and menu options at this restaurant. However, we have noticed a significant decline in the quality of service over time. While we have always been polite, never sending back incorrect orders or expressing dissatisfaction, here have been recurring issues with order accuracy, a lack of attentiveness, and, most concerning, a noticeable decline in customer service courtesy.
For example, during our most recent visit, my friend received the food first and was nearly finished eating by the time my food was brought to the table. To make matters worse, my order had been ready for some time but was left sitting for a while before it was brought out.
As loyal customers, we expected better from this establishment. Unfortunately, not once have the staff been welcoming, friendly, or even made the effort to smile. We value this place for its proximity and the consistency it once had, but the increasingly poor service has made it difficult to justify returning. Given how customer service has deteriorated to this extent, we will no longer be supporting this business.
We sincerely hope the management takes steps to address these concerns, as this restaurant has the potential to provide a much more enjoyable...
Read moreThis place is definitely in my top 3 sushi places in Vancouver! It’s always delicious, tastes fresh, and great value for the price! Their restaurant isn’t the fanciest thing ever, but man their sushi is so so good - even the simple rolls taste better then most and their rice is never dry. My old workplace used to get trays delivered often for lunches, and my boss told me that the owner was the nicest most accommodating guy ever - on some occasions he would even come in early to get a huge order ready for a big meeting we were having!
I ordered this party tray (tray F) last night, and it was SO good and could easily feed 3-4 people for less than $40. Such a good deal.
*TIP: avoid ordering from third-party delivery apps, and order straight from the restaurants website! Their prices are actually cheaper on the website, there is no service fee, and delivery is free is you live...
Read moreMy husband and I ate there a few evenings ago (June 4, 2014), and maybe the management has changed since all the negative reviews I've been reading, but it was well above average, I'd say. No extra charge. Only minus was that my husband ordered brown rice for his (mayonaise, garlic, and sesame-free) Vancouver and Hawaii roles, which was forgotten. The extra charge for brown rice was waived with no problem, though. And the tuna sashimi on my tuna don was lovely and a generous portion, so we both shared our orders, and enjoyed the free hot tea. A sustaining and tasty meal for only around $22 for the two of us. I'll...
