If you're searching for a place to hydrate, caffeinate, or wine down, look no further than Café Kitsuné Vancouver! They've mastered the trifecta of craft coffee, truly tasty pastries, and an impressive wine selection (not to mention their five-star customer service).
I popped into Café Kitsuné hoping to grab a glass of wine during my stroll in Gastown and was blown away to discover that they offered an orange wine by the glass. Most restaraunts miss this creative mark, so this set the tone of excitement for my adventure. I followed up with a bottle (don't judge) of locally-produced Synchro Mesh Riesling '22 and a very superb almond croissant. Most of this was recommended by Café Kitsuné team member, John! And friends, if you've popped into Café Kitsuné without saying hello to John, you've really missed out on a memorable day. His enthusiasm for the establishment, and authentic interest in its guests is the definition of "hospitality."
This will not be my last adventure to Café Kitsuné! I hope to be back ASAP. And a huge thank you to my new...
Read moreDiscovering Maison Kitsune was an absolute delight! This unique spot combines an eclectic, vintage-inspired ambiance with delectable pastries, all complemented by the exceptional hospitality of Amisha and John. While their primary focus is on the clothing boutique, they extend their warmth to the café side as well. For instance, when they noticed I had my small dog with me (which is typically not allowed in the café), they didn't just recite the rules. Instead, they welcomed us both with open arms.
Their kindness didn’t stop there. Amisha and John graciously offered to keep an eye on my pup, allowing me to savor my wine at the table without worry. This level of attentive, heartfelt service truly goes the extra mile. It's gestures like these that build lasting loyalty and make a place special.
From the exquisite culinary offerings to the quaint and charming decor, and especially the outstanding personal attention from Amisha and John, this gem on Fraser Street is a must-visit. I am already looking forward to...
Read moreWe were excited to try the new Cafe Kitsune after missing out on it in Tokyo. The prices are absurdly high and the portions are heck small! the tiny fox cookie which for some reason I always thought was free w/ a drink (WHAT AM I THINKING?) was $5!!!! PREPOSTEROUS!
There's a 25 cent up charge per cup (City of Van rule, jeez) and when we ordered two cold drinks, they told us they have to serve it in a paper cup. the paper cups are tiny. Even though they had plastic cold drink cups nearby but apparently won't use them for some reason.
A nearby table just left so we ended up getting the drinks to stay but of course we lost 50 cents on the paper cups. Oh wells.
It was fine. We stayed for a short while, finished the drinks and we left.
IT was our first time experiencing cafe kitsune and expected stupid high prices but still, it was shocking.
Probably won't return to this location ever again.
Employees were nice enough.
Merch game WEAK. Especially the...
