I came into the salon to have a consultation with Danika yesterday. She was so kind to book me in so quickly, as I had an emergency. I had just visited a different salon the day previous and had my VIRGIN hair completely botched. I'm a brunette. I went in wanting a baby blush pink do, and came out 8 different colours of blotchy fuchsia. I went home last night and cried for a few hours before I was able to collect myself and book an appointment at a new salon (Brush).

Danika, girl you are a real gem for fixing the state of my hair! She spent 8 hours taking extremely great care of my hair all while fulfilling my vision for the end result! She was so gentle and delicate with my damaged hair, especially when it was wet. I really enjoyed getting to ask her any questions i had. She had all the answers, reasons, so much knowledge to back up her technique. She took the time to apply a deep conditioner treatment and let it really saturate my hair. My hair is so soft now!! One thing I REALLY appreciated is her confidence, but her comfortability to ask for a second opinion. A lot of people will not ask for help because they are "the professional" and "they went to school they know all". Even though Danika knew what to do with my root colour, as well as my hair colour, she made a point to confirm with a Colourist (someone very highly trained in hair tones, colours, dying techniques) in front of me, that we were on the right track and we were going to get the desired results. Danika you freaking nailed it! I owe every compliment I've received, and every positive feeling I've had about myself today to you :)

This is the best cut and colour and the most enjoyable salon experience I've ever had. I stopped by briefly one day to see about making an appointment to go from no colour to a bright blond from years earlier. Within minutes I had a consultation with Lara, who was excellent. The environment is bright, modern, minimalist, fantastic sound and choice of music and high quality equipment that isn't super noisy like other older salons (all my favourite things). The hair cut was great and a good price, the consultation gave me a break down so that I knew just what to expect for the colour appt. There were some delays due to bookings during my colour appt but it's all about how you respond. Lara was super professional and friendly the whole way through, and remained extremely positive even though my booking was at the end of a very long day for her, I felt like I was a priority and felt thoroughly taken care of the whole evening. My hair looks fantastic and I've been so happy with it and my experience at Brush for the last week. Lara explained what we were doing with my hair the whole time, made it look great and explained the rationale in a clear manner. My only concern is that I should have left a bigger tip! Lisa has been my colorist for the past three years (I’ve followed her everywhere), and she exceeds my expectations every time! I’m especially in love with this latest session because we finally achieved the brightness and style I’ve been aiming for (after I previously decided to go darker and shorter). Lisa makes me feel so comfortable expressing my preferences because she truly listens and is incredibly knowledgeable about all hair types. Through her expertise, I've come to understand my hair so much better and embarked on a transformation journey with her guidance!
